Brighten up your space in modern style with this Glass Globe Pendant Ceiling Light from Project 62™. This glass globe pendant features a dome lampshade that's accented in brass that perfectly complements the white globe. Whether you hang it in your entryway or above the island in your kitchen, you'll love the chic style it brings to your space.
1962 was a big year. Modernist design hit its peak and moved into homes across the country. And in Minnesota, Target was born — with the revolutionary idea to celebrate design for all. Project 62 embodies this legacy with a collection of modern pieces made for everyday living.
I gave it 3 stars b/c it's beautiful, HOWEVER we could not get the glass cover off at all to put in a light bulb. 3 people tried over and over again, and by that time I was so aggravated that I just boxed it back up and returned it. Don't know if I got a wonky one, but it just would NOT come off.
So so pretty! Both mine came round shaped, at least from what I can tell. Cutting the roped wire and hardwiring it was different than most fixtures I’ve hardwired, but ended up fine. Just make sure you leave enough wire to trim down the hot, neutral, and ground wires within.
To unscrew the shade, you take off the entire globe thing, not just the milky white bottom part. To install/hardwire, I would recommend taking the shade off first, then hardwiring, then put the shade back on.
Love this light. We have it in a corner, and used the included hooks to hang it from the ceiling. It does come with the hardware to hang it in an existing light fixture, which we might do someday. Nice mid-century vibes, and fancy looking!
Purchased two of these for the hallway...and they are awesome! They look way more expensive and impressive than the price. I wish I had more locations to use them. Installation was easy. Tried to use clear light bulbs but they made a shadow on the milk-glass so had to go with frosted.
I am IN LOVE with these lamps! I ordered 2 and hung them at different heights next to each other. Loved them so much, I bought a couple more. The design is great and if you use a low watt bulb, the lighting is very pleasant. For hardwire or hook hanging. Great price!
There is a significant manufacturing issue with this product and lack of consistency in shape. We ordered four pendants, all to be hung in one space. When they arrived two were oblong and two were round.
We contacted customer service, asking to send two round ones to replace the oblong lamps. They were great to work with, but when these arrived, one was round and one was oblong, leaving us with three each.
We again contacted customer service, who stated that they would not send us another unless we took one back first. The problem with this is that you do not know what shape of lamp you will get. We ended up having to purchase another light.
When it arrived, it was unfortunately oblong and not round. At least we now have four of the same (or pretty close to the same).
If you are buying one, it would be no issue, but more than one is a crap shoot.
