These were substituted for plain cake donuts. What a gross product. They became slimy and wet and glued together. Texture is gross, they are inedible. This type of product should not be stacked and stuffed into plastic containers. You need to redesign these and make sell by date much sooner, they don't hold up to the date you list. Also the slimy coating stop using so many gums, additives and preservatives, these are chemical soup. Gross

Absolutely disgusting to start off with. Stale. And they were crushed and shoved in there container it looked it someone stuck their finger in each donut they were so deformed. Also they were cold for some reason? Gross.

I was so excited to see these back in stock initially, but when I got one in the light I noticed tons of black specks and little threads (hair? Insects? Dirt? Clearly foreign material of some sort.) Seem to be suspended in the glaze, so it is not just burned spots or toasting of the donut. Totally grossed out and have never seen anything like this on any food item in my life. Not mold, not spoilage, just clearly foreign material amid the glaze. I obviously did a return to get refunded, but mostly wanted to file a safety concern with Target in case this is a mass contamination of some sort. So I called the phone number for reporting safety concerns with grocery items and got a voicemail to call back during business hours. Tried chat, was told to check back during business hours and provide a reference number. Is there really nowhere someone can document something like this 24/7? Food safety!?! So here I am. Photos attached here are the same ones I submitted alongside the return with written description of the contaminants. I’d love to have someone responsible reach out to ME at this point to explain to me what in the world is all over your bakery items and reassure me that I haven’t ingested something unsanitary or dangerous.
