A: FINALLY have an answer about getting a replacement globe. Lamp is made by Mastercraft International. The customer service number is 870-933-8010. I gave the lamp's TCIN (#88965524). They're sending me a new globe via FedEx FREE of charge.

The switch is on the cord of the lamp that plugs into the wall. It is on the cord about 12” from the base of the lamp. I hope this helps. - Shilpa

Q: Like others have asked, how do we attach the globe? I see the canned response with a phone number. I called that number and it's just a generic target customer service and all they can do is returns.

Q: Hello, What is the maximum wattage in an LED bulb that should be used in this lamp? I only see the requirement for incandescent bulbs. My LED is 800 lumens; does that work? Thanks!

Q: I have this lamp and I can't take the globe off. I saw the other Q&A to unscrew counter clockwise but it is not working. How can I get the globe off?

A: Hi KDL, Thank you for your question, the glass shade is threaded as shown in the image below. It screws on to the socket cup, attached to the brass topper piece. To remove shade, unscrew the shade by turning it. I hope this helps-Cheryl.

For its price its a terrible lamp. It is sooo hard to get a ligjt bulb in and it doesn't even come with one!! The screws are so small and its a pain to unscrew them because of the space. I hate this lamp and regret buying it , do better target!

Actually impossible to remove the glass globe to put a bulb in the lamp. I spent 25 minutes trying all different combinations of rotation and nothing worked. And at $50 this is a joke.

The design is nice and it's better quality in that the globe is glass, very on trend; however, the glass globe scratches easily, especially in transit. Target also is a miss on packaging; I ordered two that were just thrown into a box, shattering the product. Pick up in store.

Like others have said, there are issues with how the globe attaches to the metal base. Tried several ways to adjust and fix the ring it should slide on to. The ri g itself was falling off the base. And the pins/screws that probably should hold it in pace can't be threaded through. 2 of us spent an hour with several tools trying to figure a solution. No luck.
Maybe the lamps are okay, but I wouldn't know because of how they packaged it up.

I fear there was a severe lack of common sense with whoever packaged up my order. One flimsy piece of deflated bubble wrap tends to not shield a glass lamp very well.

I saw this in store and it was exactly what I wanted. I didn't see these reviews beforehand but I had no trouble removing the globe or screwing in the light bulb. It took two tries to get the globe back on but not too much trouble. I slowed down, took my time, and got it the second time.

I didn’t have any issues, removing the globe off of the lamp. I installed the lightbulb and appears to look good. I bought this lamp because of coordinates with the other lamp in this project 62 style.

Listen... don't get me wrong. I think these lamps are very cute and stylish. I bought one two years ago and then another a year ago. Tell me why this lamp is now $50?!?!?!? I bought mine just a little over a year ago for $30. Target raised the price $20 and I think that's ridiculous. I would not have paid $100 for these lamps. Target do better.

I’ve had this lamp for almost 3 years, not sure if the quality of it has changed, but the lamp screwing on and off still is okay for me. Best to buy target lamps by pick up / in-store. I placed a color changing bulb in it to dim and change the color how I’d like. Looks cute, gives off a good amount of light, and is the perfect size in my space

I just received and plugged in and they didn't turn on. I then thought "oh I need to add a lightbulb". I turned the globe the correct way (there's a loosen/tighten directional sticker) and it just spun and spun but never came off. It's like it's free spinning and the socket is turning with the globe. I kept trying until I heard a pop. Never got the globe off so these are getting returned.

Globe lampshade is extremely difficult to remove and as of now I have not successfully "threaded" it back on the metal to screw back in place. The screws in the metal flashing seem to be kissing a nut to keep them in place allowing for the shade to be tightened. When I get the shade "threaded" the metal has slipped off the screws and pushed them into the brass top section of the lamp. The holes in the top of the lamp are not positioned in a way that you can see or use a screw driver to help get the screws in place. I have resorted to super glue to hold the screws in place. I'm not sure if I can return since I cannot seem to get it back together. It looks great. I would recommend trying to get the shade off and back on in the store before you purchase.

I’ve had this lamp for six months with no issues. It’s perfect on my foyer table. I keep it on at all times. I read some of the recent reviews and I’m not sure if there has been a change in production. But I had no problem whatsoever getting the globe off or putting in a lightbulb. I simply just had to keep twisting/turning until the globe came off.

Wish I had read the reviews for this before buying. As others have said, we could not get the bulb off, even after rotating dozens of times. Would not loosen or tighten no matter which direction we rotated. Looks nice but will be taking back to the store.

Listen to the other reviews. I LITERALLY tried for an hour to remove the globe fixture to put in a bulb. The constant rotation of turning the fixture scratches the top where it meets the metal holder and is stripping a screw or something inside (I can see shavings collecting in the base of the globe. Loosened the globe but never did get it off.

I have been looking for another glob lamp like this for 6 months or more so I was so excited when I found this one, my other one got knocked over and broke the globe and it was my favorite lamp. I bought this one and got it home to see how it looks but can't get the globe off to put a bulb in, any suggestions on how I can get it off without breaking it? I have tried and tried . I don't want this to be a total lose I love targets globe lamps they are so pretty.
