Decent starting tank for small fish.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall Im happy with the product. It comes with a bright blue led light and it's the perfect size for my pedestal display. I only wish it was a glass tank and was surprised it was plastic. Its odd shape makes it a little tricky to clean but not impossible.

Great tank!!

Good product

It was a good size for my small apartment. I love how it looks and the backlight to make it glow. The only downside is being in a small apartment the filter is loud

Great starter tank
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the design and shape of the tank. The filter is quiet. If you fill it up enough the light is very bright. My only complaint is that the lid did not fit snug and I had to stretch the top of the tank for it to fit.

Easy to assemble and stays clean

I love the blue led light that glows up the tank and their decorations inside the tank. Filter has kept the tank clean since putting it together which was a couple weeks ago.

Great for a beginner fish

The tank sides themselves have a little too much flex to them and the lid fits poorly no matter the amount of water in the tank.

Starter kit

The plastic scratches but is less likely to leak than glass. Filter is moderately noisy. Overall I would recommend for a starter kit or gift.

I want another-love!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design of this tank. We have five other tanks in our house and I personally like this the best. The overall shape is unique but fits in all spaces. I love that I came with everything that we needed other than a heater. We have decorated the tank and have cycled the water so it is now ready for fish. We have not added fish yet as we are waiting on a shipment of Glofish Danios. We are super excited for them to come in and put them into their tank.

Great starter tank

In terms of design and performance the tank is efficient I would recommend it as a good starter tank. Making it an easy low maintenance and durable option as an introduction to the aquarium hobby. Noise wise it is not too loud making it a great choice for any space.

Great filter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fish has been loving this tank. I had to take away one star due to the top not being able to close or be held down. I wish it would latch on but it just rests on top of the tank. The filter is great. It has a bag filter as well as a moving fan to really push in the water. The light works great and makes the fish really pop.

Lovely
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pretty pleased so far. The aquarium size included LED lights and filter were a good deal especially since I purchased two on sale. Please note that this aquarium does not have an included background. All that is in the package is the acrylic aquarium filter LED lights and hood. I plan on making heavily planted tanks for two different betta fish. I have a few concerns about the number of openings and possibly the filter being an issue but knowing that ahead of time I am aware of the risks and will be cautious. Both of these tanks are sitting on top of my desk hutch so I can see them while I work every day. I also bought a separate heater and small air stone to add to it. Pretty excited to get them set up!

Good Starter Tank
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GloFish Crescent 5 gallon aquarium is a cute starter tank. It's very small so I would not keep Bettas in here too long. It seems to be durable and I like that there are no seams on the side to minimize leaking. It's all one seamless piece of plastic. It comes with the filter tank and the blue light. The light is very bright the cord is long and there's a button to turn off and on. The filter is quiet and works decently for this size tank. The blue LED light clips onto the underside of the lid and it did take me a good minute to get it clipped on properly. The tank lid just hangs onto the tank though. I wish it had a lip of a clip for it to stay a bit better. There is a cutout on one side where the LED light cord goes through. Overall like I stated earlier this is definitely a good starter tank.

optimal but not satisfied

I also appreciate the app that comes with the aquarium as it provides valuable information on fish care such as the optimal liquid to use and the type of fish that can be kept in the aquarium.The 5-gallon capacity is suitable for a moderately sized aquarium. However I have some reservations about the ease of cleaning and maintenance of the aquarium.In my opinion glass is a more suitable material than plastic for an aquarium as it is easier to clean and won't scratch or become opaque over time.Overall I think this aquarium has some interesting features but could improve in terms of design and materials to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.

Great fish tank

Super good quality tank and I'm a seasoned pro when it comes to fish. Super quiet filter system which is nice. Haven't had to to clean the tank yet but with proper care you don't have to clean a fish tank very often. This Glofish tank has a blacklight specifically designed for the Glofish due to their fluorescent colors.

Decent little tank
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent little tank for a beta or 2 very small fish. The pros are that it's packaged decently it comes with the filter and small blue light (but only blue can't switch it to white light). My cons would be it's plastic mine came all scratched up and you'll not be able to scrub it hard if you need to do a deep cleaning. The lid is definitely very thin but it fits fine. I was disappointed it didn't come with at least one glowing plant to make it more of a kit. For the price point that was shared with me I would probably return this as I have 2 other tanks that were less than this cost and not as high of quality. Therefore I think good is an appropriate response.
