Leaana's twin brother Sagan, is a familiar with a white wolf as an animal guide. He is destined to lead his people. His simple rite of passage, to retrieve a sacred stone from the mountains, becomes more meaningful and dangerous than he could possibly imagine. Sagan discovers three new races, and an army determined to destroy his homeland of Natarin, while conquering the neighboring Elf kingdoms.
