I've been eating this candy my whole life and it's no longer pill shaped, instead it's oval egg shaped and it doesn't contain as much licorice per piece and instead has more sugar coating. Its not as good, the new egg shape is super disappointing. I would rather just eat Black licorice

Why? Why???? Why would you change the recipe on this very old candy that people have loved for ages? Now they are too sweet, soft, and have no licorice flavor. I actually returned mine just for the principle of the matter. Not cool to change the recipe on a tried and true product and obviously you guys are just trying to save money by replacing some of the licorice extract with more sugar. My once favorite candy is now super nasty.

I don't want jellybeans, I want capsule shaped Good and Plenty that had the STRONG licorice taste I love. The new version is just not good. When did this happen? Why did it happen, the old product with thin coating was perfect, now the interior is musy and the shell is too thick. Super disappointed. All my old times favorite candies are changing or being discontinued. Its so sad to ruin a classic. This is a niche product, black licorice is a love it or hate it thong with kost people. I love it and this box tastes like chemicals (the shell is weird) and the inside is NOT the same. The cost went up 30%, and its no longer the delicious candy I remember. So sad.

I just bought a box, and one of my favorite candies has been destroyed with a new recipe. Are you serious? Stop with the excuses about the change, it is shrinkflation and you cut back the licorice and now give us mushy sugar balls. Yes, the weight is 6oz, big deal, the candy is now garbage and will no longer be purchased. I threw the box away. So disappointed.

The whole candy has changed. It doesn’t even taste the same. The outer coating seams softer and more sugary while the licorice art doesn’t seem as flavorful. More sugary than anything. What a disappointment!

As usual I purchased a box of Good and Plenty to share with my sister when I went to visit. To our surprise we opened the box to find overweight Tic Tacs. Hershey had went down on the size of the candy, for what reason I'm not sure because the weight didn't change just the size. What's up Hershey why the change?

Why the change? Very disappointed to find out the recipe has changed. Mushy and too sweet with barely any licorice taste now. This was my go to for many years, sadly not anymore unless the old recipe is brought back.

Good and plenty has always been my favorite until now. Candy is to sweet and no longer fun to eat. Less licorice and to chewy. Wish they wouldn’t mess with perfection and give us back the original candy. Been eating good and plenty for 60 years.

I buy good, plenty at least once a week. I find it soothing for my acid reflux. I have noticed a distinct change recently in the flavor. I would almost describe it as a spearmint taste of which I am not a fan at all. Always liked the licorice extract taste Never believe the myths and rumors that it was actually bad for you. Hersheys shrunk these much smaller so they are sweeter .. the ones I received were soft but I like black licorice these are too sweet for me. The box shows much bigger candies like the original it's false advertising. Hershey's you should call these Good and Plenty Minis (don't steal my idea). These are too sweet for me I have lots of other places to get licorice.. is this a ploy like New Coke.. whoever decided to change the manufacturing should restore the original Good and Plenty Original (don't steal my idea)

As others have mentioned I was disappointed this week after over 60 years of enjoying Good & Plenty that the quality has changed substantially. The shape is no longer thin and oval - as depicted on the box for years - it is now ovoid and thick. The licorice inside is tough and hard to chew. Can no longer purchase unfortunately.

I imagine that my grocery store doesn't sell out of these often. These are some of my favorite candies and I've eaten them enough to know that the change to the shape is recent, I don't like it, and I hope it gets fixed.

This was one of my favorite candies growing up I'm 70 years old. I bought a pack today and something has changed the shape seems a little different the coating doesn't have the same flavor the licorice is slightly different. I would probably buy them again but I would honestly like to know if there have been changes made so I'm not thinking my taste buds are crazy?

Theres a change to this candy I ate as a child, it's not soft anymore,bit can be very hard to chew and while I love the coating and flavor it's disappointing in the same sense. Please bring back the better licorice, if possible.

Good and plenty has been one of my favorite candies since I was a child. I recently bought two boxes from the grocery store and the candy had a foul, plasticky taste about it. I haven’t noticed this with licorice jelly beans or real licorice, I don’t know what has changed. My favorite candy has been ruined.
