Q: I've been looking for the "original/back-in-the-day"-type sponge rollers. The newer ones seem to snap/lock too tight, making the rollers hard to unsnap. How is the SNAP/LOCKING feature with these rollers????

since the snaps are plastic, they break easily / fall off the roller easily. overall, I like the foam curlers because they work really well with damp hair overnight. I had curls for DAYS after using these overnight on my wet hair. I would recommend but be careful with the plastic pieces!

My daughter had a dance recital, and I knew I wouldn’t have much time before the show. I used these the night before on her damp hair, and she slept in them. I’m pretty impressed! This was our first time ever using rollers on her hair. I’ll be using again.

I have naturally pin straight hair. I put these around my head overnight after washing my hair and I woke up with what looked like naturally tight curls. 10/10 product and would definitely recommend to anyone who does not want to damage their hair with a professional perm.

When applied after shower, it works very well. I loved it. It is so easy, quick, and effortless. All you need 5 minutes to roll your hair with them and wait 2 hours minimum and boom you have beautiful curly hair. I went to sleep with them on my hair and didn't bother at all.

My grandma used to set my hair in these at night and i would always have the most beautiful curls in the morning. I’ve been doing it ever since and now do the same for my 6 yr old daughter. We both have pin straight hair down to our butt and curling irons just don’t cut it. With the correct prep before hand, hair sectioning & a bonnet before bed, these work fantastic and our curls last for 2 days. Sadly the quality is not the same as mine from the early 90s but the foam was starting to deteriorate. They really don’t make anything like they used to anymore. I still recommend these above all and you can’t beat the price!

I like to use rollers most nights. This particular brand starts to shred sooner than I think should be the case. I sometimes end up picking foam out of my hair. I do not recall this being a problem with another brand.

What a disappointment ! These rollers are nothing like the GOODY rollers I’ve used in the past. They come apart as you are attempting to use them. When you finally get your hair rolled they don’t grip the hair firmly. Luckily , I had some old ones I could use because these are a waste of money time and effort!

They are hard to get to clip into place and they are very flimsy. You get a lot for the money, though, I think they should only be $5 due to how flimsy they are, and they could give you a few more.
