Google Pixel 8 Pro comes with the best of Google and some deception

If you noticed an advertisement that Google is offering a free trial of YouTube/Fitbit Pro/Google One don't be deceived. I bought a Pixel 8 Pro and after a lengthy support request conversation and escalation they proved that I was not eligible for this perk as I had used a 1 month trial within 3 years. Their customer service is cheaper than the cheapest of any service I ever used. Stay away from all Google products in general, not just Pixel 8 Pro. I was a fan of Google when I used Pixel 7 Pro, but now that I experienced their cheapness I will not even trust them with a screen protector. I believe a product is not just the hardware, it also includes quality of service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say this Google Pixel 8Pro is very well built. You definite feel a solid phone that is there to last. It did feel a bit heavy compared to Samsung or Iphone phones but not anything crazy. Historically I’ve had Samsung and the S24 had me scratching my head at the long front camera quality but this Google Pro 8 was right on the spot. My wife also loved it!! Do wish there were a bit more color ranges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have an android phone, but switched to iPhone a few years ago. So the experience with Google Pixel 8 Pro is different, but good. Despite being quite big, the smartphone is lightweight and feels great in hand. Its size is also justified by a huge bright and sharp screen. Great typing experience! I’m also super happy with the extended quick access panel - changing settings is much quicker than on an iPhone, AND you can switch off location services with one touch. The camera is amazing, zoom is great, editing features are much more diverse and creative. I transferred data from my iPhone - the process was easy and intuitive, you get to choose which categories of information to synchronize. It even gives you Google Play alternatives to the AppStore apps. The smartphone’s biggest advantage compared to an iPhone is battery life - it’s crazy long! It can handle 5 days of low use without charging; with active use lasts 3 days easily. The battery is fully charged in 2,5-3 hours. I got this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.

I expected a learning curve but it’s excellent photo quality, usability, and appearance have me sold! Awesome color as well! Will look to replace my family’s devices with this one in the near future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, WOW! I am highly impressed with this Google Pixel 8 Pro! I have been an iPhone user for the past 12 years and I was very nervous about the switch, but I have to say, I wish I would have done it sooner! I am now highly spoiled by the camera, and I cannot see myself ever going back to an iPhone. The best take feature is my favorite part, I don’t see myself having to need a photo editing app after this! I was using an iPhone 13 Pro Max prior to this one, it did take some getting used to but the learning curve was not as steep as I was expecting. I love that it comes in a variety of colors, it’s nice and slim, the screen quality is top-notch and super clear, and it’s not too heavy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are a Google user this phone is extremely user friendly! Everything was literally accessible to me on the home page. Super easy to navigate and definitely keeps up with the technology of other phones. I have an iPhone as well and if I’d compare I’d say the camera quality is right on par with my current iPhone. It also has some other neat features like a night camera tab that really gave clear quality pictures. I really liked the screen swiping functions to back out of a tab or application and although it took some adjustment to remember the back and forward options while on Internet was clever as well. Overall I feel like if you are switching from an iPhone or Android phone it’s easy enough to operate where you can enjoy it and not feel frustrated, especially if you are a Google fan like me.

I compared the camera to my iPhone and I was able to zoom in more in the Pixel. I absolutely loved the phone, I’ve read comments about the battery running out quickly, that wasn’t the case for me. Great phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so I am a die-hard phone user of another specific phone brand, and NEVER thought I'd switch! Transferring my previous phone was literally seamless. It looked exactly as my previous one did in little to no time at all. Everything has been super fast and I've had no issues to date and it's been several weeks now. Few notable things I think work mentioning: 1. The back button not being there would have been a make or break deal but with a quick search I figured out how to make this function work so yes it can be done! 2. The camera rocks! Clear crisp photos and easy to access while in a hurry to snap a great photo! 3. Tons of options for phone cases! 4. Haven't found a screen protector that allows great use of the sceeen without having to really press so I've opted to remove that for now. 5. Ring tones choices are so fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera is really the shining star on this phone; the Astrophotography mode is ground breaking, stabilizer is excellent and the telephoto zoom lens is crisp and clear compared to all other previous phones I have owned. Aside from the camera aspect, this phone offers reliable software and hardware. My only gripe is that the battery life is not as great as I would hope a new phone to be. I find myself charging it more often than my previous smart phone which is why my final review stands at 4 stars. Overall, the Pixel 8 is a stunning phone and hope they can optimize the battery life in the near future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Google Pixel 8 Pro/Obsidian for free from Influenster and Google in return for my honest review. As of now I own a iPhone 12 Pro. I love all that my iPhone has to offer and all of its features. After using the Google Pixel 8 Pro for 30 days I am now ready to write my review. First of all, I have never used a Google phone, so I was excited and also a bit anxious. I would love to speak about the phones appearance. The Google Pixel 8 Pro has two camera circles, but they're combined into one big circle. It’s a much cleaner look. The satin back hides fingerprints, if you aren’t using a phone case. The Pixel 8 pro has better brightness than the iPhone 15 pro. It’s basically like real life but sustains it much better. The Artificial Brightening is just unbelievable. The display can sustain max brightness much longer than the iPhone 15 pro max. Overall, battery life can vary depending on the person but I would say the average person should get 6-8 hours. The camera quality is unbelievable. Telephoto 50MP mode has much better quality than others. It retains details in shadows and highlights. The Google Pixel 8 Pro has great night photography and more accurate colors in video quality. You also get 5x zoom and the auto focus is lightning fast. There’s a shallow depth of field with close up subjects. It comes with great software to support and improve picture quality and clarity. Including Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, Face Unblur, Best Take, Night Sight and Video Boost. There’s an even added bonus. The Temperature Sensor can now take the temperature of yourself and not just an item! The only negative thing I have to say is that the phone didn't come with a charger in the box. Overall, I strongly recommend the Google Pixel 8 Pro and strongly feel it’s a monumental achievement in camera quality.

It has a beautiful design, a top-of-the-line camera, and a powerful processor. However, it is also quite expensive, and there are a few minor drawbacks to consider.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Pixel 8 Pro made by Google for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I am an iPhone user so I was a bit hesitant, but overall the phone quality is amazing & the camera on the Pixel 8 pro is actually better than the iPhone camera! The weight of the phone is very similar to most smart phones, however the screen on the Pixel 8 pro (6.7”) is actually larger than my iPhone 13 Pro. The appearance of the phone is very sleek and slender making it easy to slip in and out of your pocket or a purse! The battery life seems to last me about 10 hours, which is me actively being on the phone - listening to music, taking a phone call, searching the web, being on social media, etc. Included with the phone is a charging cord with is a USB-C, & it also has a quick switch adapter for a USB-C to USB, which is very useful considering most plugs are USB. After using this phone for the last few weeks, I have to say I am #TeamPixel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start this review off by saying I have an iPhone and all Apple products. With that being said this is a great phone. The camera is much better than my iPhone 14 Pro. It’s more crisp and clean, which I’ve found most Android and Google phones do have better picture and video quality. I also do social media for a living so I compared videos side by side from each other the phones and there was no competition. It’s an amazing phone but would I switch from my iPhone? No I wouldn’t only because everything I own is Apple so the ease of using all Apple products together outweighs how good this phone is. But if you’re an android user or don’t have any other Apple products absolutely give this phone a try. As an iPhone user I’ve had to use my husbands android phone and find it very had to navigate this one I found to be very easy to use, it does take some getting used to but it’s more similar to an iPhone than an android is.

The adaptive feature with the battery is great to make sure you’re not over charging the battery. The pixel also comes with a variety of wallpapers that makes customizing the phone fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid Google pixel user I was excited to try the pro version. This isn't a huge difference from the Google Pixel 7 but there are some notable differences that make this a fun phone to use. The new Android 13 runs so smoothly and offers almost a seamless Android experience really delivering on the speed and ease of use I have come to expect from the Pixel. I can get about a full day of normal usage on a freshly charged battery. The stand out feature for me is the camera 😍 48 megapixel with a 23 mega pixel ultra wide camera makes your scenic and nature shots pop. The zoom capabilities are amazing, I'm excited to see what it can do with an additional aftermarket zoom lens. Macro mode was fun to use and I was able to get some pretty cool pictures. Night mode isn't great but it works 😀 the new selfie features are spot on and allow so much after photo clean ups, especially guided frame and unblur Overall you cannot go wrong with this phone.... Like at all. I am constantly learning new things and tricks after a month of use.
