Q: I have been looking for a tiny GoPro that would fit on a hot wheel car (there is one that is specifically made for a camera but I have no idea which one). Would this fit on it?
A: I’d recommend an insta 360. It is smaller and more versatile.

submitted byRena - 1 year agoTarget expert supportA: There was a special Hot Wheels car with a built-in mount for the GoPro Session cameras. The HERO has a different size and shape than those Session models, but it might work with a Hot Wheels car. You might need to use an adhesive mount or other mounting system to attach it to a car though.

Q: Can I attatch this to my surf board and is it waterproof?
A: Hi Kai wyman, thanks for reaching out about GoPro HERO You would need both mounting and waterproofing accessories to attach this to your surf board. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
submitted byJustin - 1 year agoTarget expert supportA: Yes, the HERO can be used on a surfboard. The HERO is waterproof on its own down to 16 feet, so it should handle the splashes and waves well. GoPro also makes a specialized surfboard mount that sticks to most surfboards and includes a tether for added security.

Q: Will this mount attachment work in the mount that's in the old Toyota Tacomas? 2016/2017
A: Hi amber, thanks for reaching out about GoPro HERO. Yes, it uses strong double-sided tape to hold the mount in place. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
submitted byMatt - 1 year agoTarget expert supportA: The mount installed on the Tacomas using our standard mounting system, so the mounting buckle that is included with the HERO camera should slide right into the Tacoma's mount, and then you can connect the HERO to that buckle.

Q: Is this model good for recording and taking northern light pictures in an extrem cold (-40 F) weather?
A: GoPro doesn't have a formal low-temperature rating for our cameras or accessories, and there are reports of customers using our cameras in some pretty extreme conditions. If you're in extremely cold temperatures, you will want to try to keep the battery warm to prevent some power drain that cold temperatures can cause. If you can keep the HERO in a pocket inside your jacket where your body heat can keep it warmer between shots, that's a great option. Then, pull the camera out when you're ready to shoot. When the camera is on, it will generate some heat, which will help extend the battery life when shooting in colder temperatures.

Yes, you can use a GoPro HERO to take pictures of the Northern Lights. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: I saw something about duration. Can the video be set so pushing the shutter button will automatically video for 30 or 60 seconds?
A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about GoPro HERO Yes, this feature exists on most modern GoPros, and it is called Duration Capture. It allows you to set a specific "timer" for how long the camera should record before it automatically stops and saves the file. This is perfect if you want to capture a quick 30-second burst of action without having to remember to hit the button again to stop. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: When looking for accessories, what accessories fit this
A: Hi, thank you for reaching out about GoPro HERO. Most GoPro mounts and basic accessories that use the standard three-prong attachment system are universally compatible with all GoPro HERO cameras. Accessories that are specifically designed to fit the body or use specific ports, such as protective housings, lenses, and mods, are generally not cross-compatible between different GoPro HERO models due to variations in camera size and shape. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Does this come with an as card?
A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about GoPro HERO. That is a crucial detail to know when buying a camera! No, the GoPro HERO camera typically does not come with an SD (microSD) card in the standard retail box. GoPro cameras (from the older original HERO model all the way up to the newest HERO12 and HERO13 Black) are usually sold as the camera body and accessories (like a battery, mounting buckle, and charging cable), but without the memory card. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
