A: yes. your hair has to be blonde or bleached if you want it to be that silver.
submitted byNatalie - 8 years agoA: Your hair has to be basically white to achieve the color of the model on the box. Honestly, go to a salon for the bleaching portion, at minimum, to keep from destroying your hair.

Q: If I am trying to grow out my gray hair will this help it blend in better? I already have hair that's been died at a salon. It's a light brownish/blonde.
A: Alot of us want VIVID head turning SILVER. Why is this not recommended for light salt n pepper or light gray to white hair ?
