Q: I can't find the brand that I normally purchase. Is this good for Thai Peanut Chicken?
submitted by MB - 6 years ago
A: Hi there! Yes, Goya Coconut Milk would taste great in Thai Peanut Chicken. This creamy milk is made from the pressing of ripe coconut meat and doesn’t contain gums, thickeners or stabilizers. It is unsweetened and can be added to sweet and savory dishes to add a rich coconut flavor. We recommend to shake the can before use so that the Coconut Fat becomes fully incorporated into the liquid.
Q: I have a recipe that calls for “full fat” canned coconut milk - I’m not finding that anywhere on any brand. What does that mean and would this product classify as that?
submitted by Lynette - 7 years ago
A: If a product is reduced fat, it will tell you in the description or on the label. This is regular coconut milk, meaning it is full fat.

Q: Is this good for making pina colatas
submitted by Grandma - 3 months ago
Q: IS THE COCONUT MILK,NON GMO,NO ADDITIVES,OR CHEMICALS!
This coconut milk has received mixed feedback from guests, with many expressing disappointment over its watery consistency and unpleasant texture. While some guests appreciate its simplicity and use it in smoothies or curries, others find it unappetizing and unsuitable for cooking. The product's quality seems inconsistent, with reports of clumps and separation. Guests recommend exploring other brands for a more satisfying experience.

Texture chunks
The texture. It’s as if it separated and chunks of curd were all mixed in. Didn’t taste great either.

Horrible, watery and separated. Normal coconut milk separates and mixes together when you shake it. Good coconut milk is creamy, Lucious & smooth. This stuff is a watery gross mess. I couldn’t even use it. Oh and it smells like baby formula

IS IT A WEIRD SCIENCE EXPERIMENT?
Bought this instead of my usual Target brand b/c my store was oout of stock. Had read reviews and seen imagaes of this product, but decided to try. You never know. Long/short: It was perfectly qiquid in the can. I stirred it, no flakes or solids. Then I added it to my curry and flakes began to form on the surface! I've been using coconut milk to make curries for decades. NEVER have I seen this reaction. Am now reducing the curry sauce. It looks OK. I won't buy this product again. Performance is bizarre.

Does anybody read the can?
It's raw, unseparated, and meaty. There are a few ingredients and it may not be the prettiest but I appreciate the simplicity. Only negative for me is the smell is questionable but taste is great in smoothies

Gritty junk
This is just grains of coconut in watery liquid. Not nice smooth fatty thick coconut milk. I like to make curries and this makes them look really unappetizing. It doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't really taste like anything.

Grainy, not smooth
This was very thin and grainy. It poured right out like water and had pieces of coconut throughout the liquid.

Smooth milk
I was worried to purchase this after reading the reviews, but I still took a chance. Both cans that I purchased were smooth! No clumps, chunks, or grains. Made arroz con leche de coco and turned out perfect.

ALL WATER!
Do NOT buy this brand. It's all water with some coconut milk solids that will NOT emulsify. It will ruin any dish you try to cook if you're used to any real asian brand coconut milk.

Chunky and watery coconut milk
Chunky and watery…. The taste was fine, but the way it looks made it difficult to decide if it was actually edible. Absolutely would not buy this again.

Grainy
My can's contents were grainy! I thought it would be fine & emulsify on the stove, but it didn't. Luckily I thought to test a small amount when I saw the texture, otherwise dinner would have been ruined.
