This is not coconut cream; it's Coconut MILK extract + guar gum (starch filler) wish I had read the ingredients list and not the reviews. argh...I usually check the ingredients but didn't think anyone could mess this up. Guess companies will try to get away with what they can. FAKE FOOD Co.

This is the only coconut cream I use in my pina coladas it is creamy all the way through not chunky and doesn’t separate. I add rum frozen pinapple and a little pinapple juice for sweetness it is Devine.

Target, what is going on with this coconut cream? I’ve bought the same one for over five years first it became thinner over the last couple years and now I just opened a can and it had a weird smell in a weird taste that mouth like it’s bad.

Despite the label saying "coconut cream", it is NOT. It is coconut milk, purified water, and guar gum. I wish I had read the label of ingredients before I ordered instead of relying on the name. I was wanting to make whipped (coconut) cream, but this did not work, even with the addition of extra thickener. It did taste ok, but never thickened. It might be ok for other usages.

I’ve purchased coconut cream prior 2024 and the consistency has changed. I thought I made a mistake by purchasing the wrong thing but coconut cream is not longer that thick cream consistency it’s basically just milk now. I’ve purchased other brands and it seems like something’s changed with coconut cream unsure why

5 of the cans arrived dented, 4 of which are not suitable for storage. If you are willing to ship cans, they should be packaged appropriately. There was not a scrap of paper or padding if any kind.

It'll work in a pinch, but this has an incredibly sweet and nutty smell and taste that just isn't at all coconut cream. It's more like coconut candy with plastic and almonds. I used it in a soup tonight and had to add a ton of lime and soy sauce to make it bearable, and I still smell that intense nutty smell. Do yourself a favor and just by the brand name, you'll thank yourself.

I'm allergic to cow's milk so I use this and Target's coconut milk often to enrich foods with creaminess and a dose of healthy fats. I also add it to my homemade vegan yogurt. I'm not sure why there are so many complaints about this item. I purchase 1-2 cans per week and it's always fresh and creamy with a hint of coconut, just as it should be. I love that it's organic and the price is amazing--less than other brands that aren't organic.

I use this is my Thai coconut desserts. I think it’s super rich and creamy, and it contains a fragrant coconut flavor that is missing most of the other canned coconut milks that I’ve tried. I also love that it contains a bit of guar gum—which, by the way, is a completely safe ingredient that comes from a bean—which makes the cream stable and emulsified.

Not only does this taste funky but the can is lined in a plastic liner. Whether BPA or not it still leaches I to the food. Please Target, we don't want chemicals in our food!
