This coconut milk is very light and tastes subtle. I added it to soups and beans, and it created a creamy, silky broth. It elevated my dishes in a way I hadn't expected. I may prefer this to the richer coconut milk that comes in cans. I didn’t care for it in my tea, but I’ll definitely use it again for savory soups!

If you have a gluten intolerance or Sibo, you may want to think twice on using this product with all of the gums that are in it. I thought it was just coconut milk and didn’t realize it has xanthem gum a known trigger in a lot of foods now days. Unfortunately they use it in most gluten free foods now as well. If gums aren’t a problem for you this stuff doesn’t taste like the good coconut milk. So either way in my opinion there are better milks.

How can someone smash a coconut milk box ? I guess there's no cameras in the warehouse ? Oh, and this was part of a "replacement" box after my entire order needed to be replaced... go ahead, look at how many times I have had problems with the Binghamton NY Target and their warehouse in Conklin, NY. Andno, it'snot UPS doing the damage. So I'm done. I'll spend my money elsewhere. And the Good & Gather coconut milk is really good, so I will miss that.

So it's not too bad. My main complaint is that I expected it to be thicker like milk, but it's watery. I do think it taste like cocunut but it's a mild taste. I think it's good in water substitutions; On recipes where you would add water you can substitue it with this to get that extra cocunut flavor. I added it to some ramen broth and used some for my latte (just substituted the water and still added milk/creamer to keep it thick) and it tasted good. It was subtle but nice extra flavor. So overall I gave it a 4, becuase it's not bad, it's usable and tastes fine, but when I read "milk" I expect it to be thicker.

I only use coconut milk and buy 12 at a time. Most have been great but this last time I had 6 that were spoiled after I got horribly sick from drinking part of the 1st one. I think I’ll stop using this brand. Can’t afford to risk sick for days.
