A: Hello- The GPX Cassette Player / Recorder (Shoebox) comes with built-in microphone, speakers with analog volume control, and a 3.5mm AUX port. Theoretically, if you had an older iPhone, iPod, or MP3 player with a headphone port, you could plug into the Aux port. This should allow you to record the music/recordings to a blank cassette tape. That said, you would not be able to upload to a MP4 from a cassette as the unit does not have the required output features to do so, thank you.

GPX Doesn't honor warranty.
Before 60 days had elapsed, I called GPX to get a replacement recorder, but they did not honor their 90 day warranty because I did not purchase the recorder from an authorized vendor. The volume went out, and I was told that it might be the batteries. I had never used batteries- only the cord that came with the recorder. I was also instructed to unplug the unit for a minute or two. OF course that didn't work either. I just gave away my hard earned money for a piece of worthless junk.
