To operate the GPX Portable Cassette Player with AM/FM Radio (model CA337B) using an electric outlet, you need to purchase a compatible AC/DC power adapter. The unit itself does not come with the adapter in the box. It's designed to be powered either by batteries (2 AA batteries, not included) or an external power adapter. The user manual and product specifications state that the cassette player requires an AC/DC power adapter that provides a DC power input of 4.5V. You will need to make sure the adapter you purchase has a compatible plug and the correct voltage to avoid damaging the unit. Portability
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Cassette Player to listen to some Vintage Bible Stories, my Husband and I, played for our three, Precious Daughters, for Nap and Bedtime. They loved those Singing Bible Stories. The Dad is Deceased, Children, in their 50’s, with their own Children, and GrandChildren, I’m 71, and just ordered, The Bible Tapes, off of EBay, that may be the same tapes, that were Stolen, along with, The 10 Volume Set, of Mr. Arthur Maxwell’s Bible Stories. Yes, I found The Books 📕 too! I’m waiting with Bated breath, for my merchandise to arrive. Hoping, this will bring my my Family, Closer together, doing these Last and Evil Days, of Planet Earth’s Existence. Thank you for Reading my Review.

Best player we have found

Great device for a great price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im a younger person, specifically closer to Generation Z; so I haven't used a Walkman before, only heard about how my parents used to use them back in the 80s. But after messing with it for a little bit, I can proudly say that this is a great electronic! It has two modes: Cassette and Radio. While on cassette mode, you can rewind, fast forward, pause and play the music. While on radio mode, you can listen to your favorite stations whenever you want! (Note: while using radio mode, the music and sound can get a bit static-y, but nothing out of the ordinary for an old device) This cassette player allows you to listen to it with earbuds/headphones, or play it out loud for everyone around you to hear! Overall, I would say this is a great product, even for its time, and I would say this is a must-buy for older people feeling nostalgic, or younger people messing with old antiques (such as myself).

While the unit functions, it feels fragile and it's tiny sound is tinny. Also one needs to buy an ax/dc converter to use anything other than batteries. IMO you may be better served with something else.
