I bought this unit for the cassette player so I could listen to my old cassette tapes while I was fishing. The tape player works great, however the radio reception, not so much. The radio has to be facing the right direction or it fades out. It's a good thing I bought it for the cassette player feature.

Takes 2 “AA” batteries. Also plays AM/FM radio. It does everything I hoped for in a cassette player. Does more than the one I had in the 90’s. I would recommend this tape player to everyone that appreciates cassettes and AM/FM radio.

However, I have a hard time with my 18 year old granddaughter’s choice of music booming in my ear as she hands me her cell phone to take a listen. Yes, the cassette player was our cell phone of the 70s and I had to have one to replay my accumulation of tape cassettes from the era. The GPX player I just bought is the perfect match to take me back to my era of Elvis and the others. The buttons and dials were easy to use and the bonus of a radio and headphones gives me the opportunity to immerse myself in the old while enduring the new. Cassettes are here to stay., So glad the handy players can still be purchased. Thanks😍

i got this for my birthday and when i try to play a cassette on it it’s complete silence and when i try to play the radio it’s weird static that hurts my ears. i looked at the instructions and it doesn’t say anything about that.
