Description
The Graco® Extend2Fit® 3-in-1 Car Seat features a 4-position extension panel that provides up to 5” of extra rear-facing legroom, allowing your child to ride safely rear-facing longer. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. With Extend2Fit®, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lb rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. This seat offers 3 modes of use to grow with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to forward-facing harness (22-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb). The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust™ Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight™ LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss-free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat.

If the child is 12 but only 40lbs and 40inches, they still need to be in a booster. Each state is different on exact laws, so please check with your pediatrician and state laws.

Q: How do I remove the seat cover? It appears to be fastened at the bottom and the only instruction video posted by Graco is for the older model seat, which doesn’t have this issue.

The slope of the roof line doesn't leave a lot of room but I'm able to get our 22lb, 27in boy in and out without too much trouble.

As a parent, safety was my number one priority, and this car seat has exceeded all expectations. The rear-facing option up to 50 lbs gives me incredible peace of mind knowing my baby can stay in the safest position longer. The build feels sturdy, and the energy-absorbing foam padding adds an extra layer of protection. What I love most is the legroom extension feature—my toddler has so much more space to stretch, which keeps him happy and fuss-free even on long drives. It grows with your child from rear-facing infant to forward-facing and then to a high-back booster, so it’s truly a long-term value. The harness is super easy to adjust, and installation was a breeze with the InRight LATCH system. I got two seats so my daughters can match and love the fact this version has two cup holders depending on the aide the seat is on. It’s very easy to pop in the car right out of the box without the need for extra work. They are easy to adjust, easy to install! Will get another if needed. More on the narrow side to can fit in just about any vehicle. My son loves his!
