Review Quotes
"World of Wonder. Great Buildings by Mack van Gageldonk is a fantastic guide that teaches kids about amazing structures all over the world. There are even ones included in the book that may be new to adult readers. I love how the book is laid out in a way that gives information about the building as well as facts about the geography and culture of where the building is located. There's also a great mix of modern and ancient buildings and fun illustrations mixed with great photography.--Mile Long TBR
"A very simple yet informative book. I know many of the children in my school would love reading this book. A great non-fiction book to add to the school library.--Rosalyn Davey (educator)
"Outstanding Book in all respects...... Sensational pictures absolutely open eyes globally for all students. This book would certainly inspire students to learn more about the history and the wealth of information about people and places around the world. Now I must return to Brazil, mainly to Rio de Janeiro area to visit and tour the MAC! The building intrigues me. Information is brief but detailed enough to inspire students to research more of its history etc. This is a wonderful book for building engineering skills."--ITEEA
"This was a great book. I liked the variety of buildings and the diversity of where the buildings were located. I also liked the interactive elements on nearly every page spread. It's a good book for younger children, though it may need to be read in chunks." --Nichole Folkman (librarian)
