About this item

Highlights

  • Rounded Rotating Pins: Rounded, rotating pins strip dead undercoat and glide through tangled coats with less hair pulling, and the round tips gently massage the pet's skin.
  • Single Row for Medium Undercoats: This single row undercoat rake is designed for dog breeds with a medium undercoat, a deshedding comb for regular brushing between grooms.
  • Leaves the Topcoat Alone: The specially designed teeth strip dead hair and shedding undercoat while leaving the top coat undisturbed, so you work the loose fur out from underneath.
  • Ergonomic Handle: This teal blue metal undercoat rake has an ergonomic handle and is made for groomers and pet owners, for comfortable work through dense or tangled coats.

Description

Undercoat rakes for dogs have specially designed teeth that strip the dead hair and the shedding undercoat while leaving the top coat undisturbed. Using an undercoat rake prior to or during bathing usually helps reduce shedding so you can keep those fur piles contained. The Groomer Essentials Undercoat Rake is designed with rounded, rotating pins that reduce hair pulling to comfortably glide through tangled coats. The round tipped pins gently massage pets' skin. This single row rake is designed for breeds with medium undercoat.

$10 Dog Back Scratcher

I ordered this to replace the wire one I originally ordered because the wires were so flimsy that they were already bent & out of line so it didn’t brush right or release the hair right either. This one is just like a back scratcher for a dog. It doesn’t get any of the undercoat to come out, let alone regular coat. $10 back scratcher for a dog.
