Q: Do the lights work off of an AC adapter that needs to be plugged in or is there a charger for the lights? I don’t necessarily see a cable hanging from the chair, so I’m curious as to how the lights work.

This item, which was a gift was missing the wheels. Very frustrating. It will not give you an option to send out just the wheels. We will have to pack up everything and deal with a return now plus the child has to wait even longer for the chair. Check the parts before assembling and give time for return and repurchasing , if needed for a gift.
