Haagen-Dazs Frozen Passion Fruit and Sweet Pear Sorbet - 14 fl oz

Been a Häagen-Dazs fan since the 1980's & was excited to see a new flavor. I still dream about some flavors of the past, Macadamia Nut Brittle, oh how I do miss you & some of your other friends. Back to today, the Passion Fruit Pear Sorbet is a delightful flavor of passion fruit. I notice the pear at the front, followed by the sharpness of the passion fruit. It's very smooth, with a crisp, clean flavor. I find it a bit soft in texture. In fact, I thought my freezer was on the fritz, but everything else is okay. In summary, like all Häagen-Dazs products they always nail the flavors & don't add unnecessary ingredients to dull or dilute the taste. It's very good & spot on passion fruit/pear. I'm sure the softness will grow on me, just surprised me. I suggest you try it & give it a go. I'll certainly purchase again & so happy Target has the new flavors as not seen them elsewhere. Well done both Target & Häagen-Dazs!

It does not taste bad. It is more like a non descript fruit compote flavor. It does have a refreshing quality to it but it would be like what flavor is this, could not possibly guess unless you were looking at it. I think I would like this as more of a spirtzy pear water flavor and minus the heaviness of the pulp of the compote.

Absolutely love this product! A little pricey for me, but worth it! I've bought it several times now. It's hard not to eat the whole container at once. However, I can only find it at one store. It would be great if more stores carried this flavor.

You can definitely taste a bit of the pear. The serving size was just right, as it’s fairly sweet so you wouldn’t want a large amount at a time. It feels very high-quality. Many of the other sorbets we eat, feel a little crystally, but this one’s very smooth, and overall is a very good sorbet.

Loved the flavor, but the sugar hit like a brick to the teeth and I thought I had a sweet tooth! Honestly, it was just too much. Won’t be buying this one again.

One serving is about 2/3 cup (around 160 calories), and it’s totally plant-based. Ingredients are simple and clean — mostly water, pear and passion fruit purées, cane sugar, and a touch of lemon juice and stabilizers. No weird aftertaste, just real fruit flavor! Perfect treat for hot days .10/10
