Haagen-Dazs Mint Chip Ice Cream - 14oz

If there's one flavor that deserves a 28oz size, it's the mint Chip! So good.

Mont Chip is my fave Hagen Dazs flsvour but I can't find it in Canada anymore. The Layerz version is not even close to as good. Super sad.

Thought the price was good until I realized you don’t even get a full pint but 450ml. Seeing how other ice cream brands didn’t shrink their sizes, I think I’ll go with other brands instead.

The flavor of the mint ice cream is great. I love it. But in my opinion there is too much chocolate to chew- gets in the way of enjoying the ice cream. Would love a third to a half the chips or even the option of a mint ice cream with no chocolate chips. Sometimes I leave a bunch of chocolate in my cup there's so much chocolate in each spoonful.

I liked it. Very minty, may be the mintyest ice cream I ever had. I'm going back for more.

This mint chocolate chip ice cream is amazingly delicious. If I could afford it would eat it every day. I absolutely love this ice cream. OMG.

Beware of corporate weasel-words. The term 'Chocolatey' is used when an ingredient legally allowed to be called 'chocolate' because of the low cocoa/cocoa butter content. Think cheap Easter candy. Also notice that this product is called 'Mint Chip.' Chips of what? Texture seemed a bit foamy as well. I always preferred Haagen Dazs because it was super-dense. This seemed more in line with lesser brands. Wonder if they are introducing more air (called overrun I believe) into the product in an effort to save a few bux. Flavor was ok- it definitely was minty.

Most of the people buying Haagen Dazs are buying it because they care about real ingredients. Once they start to cheapen the formula, no one wants it. Stop using junk and start using real food.

I think the taste is very good, not necessarily so much better than other top brands. I do want to say to those reviewers out there who speak of "crap ingredients" - these "crap" ingredients are not really what you think. I do not work for HD, but I make both ice cream and gelato, and understand the ingredients. The corn syrup used (not HFCS) is just another sugar like white granulated and is necessary for good ice cream. Sugar is not only a sweetener, but has anti-freezing power. If HD were to use only white sugar to keep their smoothness, their ice cream would be far too sweet. Corn syrup is only 70% as sweet, which allows them to make a smooth ice cream without having too much sweetness. Also, why complain about the skim milk when cream is used? What is important is the cream percentage in the ice cream. Lastly, corn starch is used as a stabilizer just like eggs are, without adding even more fat to the mix. Starch is found in plants, and corn happens to be the popular choice for getting starch. It is also the choice for stabilizing gelato in southern Italy as eggs are not used. So chill out, and be rest assured that these ingredients are what make the ice cream good, and are not used to grow margins.

This is the best brand of ice cream I’ve ever tasted besides cold stone's! But besides the point, mint chocolate chip ice cream by haagendazs is the BSST!
