HABA Motor Skills Board On the Farm

Very cute toy, but did not interest either of my grandchild for longer than a few minutes each and then never again, so I am glad I bought it on sale. They are ages 20 months and 5 years. The older one was able to solve the puzzles on both sides too quickly. Probably a bettter fit for 3-4 year olds.

This is a very well-made toy. I love that it's double-sided: one side is more difficult with color matching to an image with animals on it; the other is 4 shapes colored red, yellow, blue and green and is simpler to complete. It's small enough to take along in a stroller or car seat but big enough for little fingers to manipulate.

Our toddler needs to not only move the pegs but also is developing planning and strategizing on a basic level

Heirloom blocks designed to last a lifetime. My granddaughter and her parents had fun trying to copy the pictures included with the blocks. Some were challenging for the adults. I am happy I found a gift suitable for a four-year old and her parents that will withstand the test of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is motor skill board but it also helps teaching colors, shapes ( how many sides each shape has), and animals. One side has colors the shapes and you slide the colors to reach the shape of the same color. Once you master that side, you can go to the other side. It is a little more complicated. This side shows the animals on the far and you put the color to the animal it matches. I definitely recommend this for kids ages 2-4. This is an excellent learning tool and keeps the kids busy.

They hold up and they are natural so no plastic for landfills, however wood toys are first to sell at resale shops and garage sales so I'm not the only wooden toy lover. This HABA motor skills farm is so brightly colored, and the farm animals are so cute, we make the animal sounds while we push our peg to that animal. So we learn color, animal identification, and sound all while we are fine tuning motor skills. It's light weight so you can easily put it in your diaper bag as a take along toy. Love it, perfect for my needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about 2 weeks ago and it has been nothing but fun for my 2 and 6 year old. They love working together to match the animals and counting the number of colored pegs and labeling their colors. It’s also an amazing fine motor toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, my three year old loves this! Its a puzzle on both sides and if you figure out the one side it doesn't match the other side. So they have to flip it and do that side. It's great! It keeps him occupied for a while. Small and lightweight so he is capable of of carrying w/ him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the HABA motor skills board game. I have a hard time with toys because my daughter tends to get bored with toys quickly. This toy was one she really enjoyed. What I really love about this toy is how portable it is. It's made lightweight hard wood and it's small enough to store in your diaper bag or even back pocket of the drivers seat in your car. I also really liked how bright and vibrant the colors are on the toy. The toy immediately caught my daughters eye and she had a blast moving the pegs around through all the holes. She couldn't keep her hands off this toy and she really enjoyed it. This is defiantly a great buy for a toddler toy!

She caught on to it right away and was trying to teach her little brother how to use it and that is who it was intended for anyway. Great colors and characters , knobs easy to grip for the youngest of the kids

This motor skills board is a lot of fun and the perfect challenge for a young toddler. It took a bit for my daughter to figure it out, but she loves it. I love how you can match the colors with the animal scene, then flip it over and play with the colored shapes. Great toy to keep her busy on a long car ride.
