They hold for thick hair. The bag was extremely hard to open.

These clips are cute but... they're not good quality alligator clips. The black ones I have in the photo are better quality from the brand Colortrak. The gator part (the top) is suppose to bend and hold the hair firmly against it when the bottom pushes the hair in. It doesn't because the way it's made is weak. You can see in the photo the colored clips have this gap where the hair would be held and the bottom also feels flimsy. So it doesn’t hold hair as well as it should especially if it's thick, fine, or slippery. Trust me, I have thick, slippery, straight, Asian hair. These do not hold as well as the other og hair brands. My hair slips out of it. Overall, if you're looking for basic hair holding clips and don't need anything stronger these work at a decent discounted price. They just don't work for me.

Been struggling with sectioning my 5 year old’s hair. She has fine thin hair so i wanted to try these ones out. Tried them as soon as i received in the mail but they don’t have a strong hold. I keep having the same issue. I don’t really understand the big gap at the end of the clips. Now i have to find more clips that actually hold the hair in place.

Love that this set Cayenne was six clips in bright fun colors. They held her hair a lot better than the current clips I’m using. We will definitely keep these and use these when we’re doing tinsel or curling her hair. They are large enough to use an adult head as well. I received an incentive to write this review.

And it makes them easy to find as well. I sectioned off my hair to help dry it faster and these held my hair in place as they are doubled hinged. And they didn’t catch any of my hair and break it as I have had some others do in the past. They come in nice bright colors too! I received an incentive to write this review.

I haven’t had them long, but can tell they are made well. They have a strong grip without snagging on the hair which was an issue that I had with past clips in a similar style. I am a year postpartum and have hair that I lost early postpartum that is growing back, and loves to stick straight up. These are perfect for holding those hairs in place while they dry, and giving me a chance to get my makeup on without my hair getting in the way. Love these! They hold thick hair, which is a plus. I love the vibrant colors too. They’ll be easy to find when thrown onto a desk. They seek durable and sturdy and will hold up after multiple use. My daughter uses them to hold her face hair out of her face when she’s doing her makeup.

These styling clips are flimsy, not strong, and don’t hold a lot of hair. I’ve had success where it holds hair in place as long as it’s a quarter of an inch in width. I clip it and most times it comes tumbling down, not holding sections in place. It’s aggravating to use when styling hair. I won’t purchase these in the future.

These Hair Sectioning Plastic Alligator Clips - 6pc are larger than I expected them to be. They are kind of soft to the touch and they feel quite well made. These would be good for nearly any hair type, length, or thickness.

I love these little plastic alligator clips. They are lightweight and hold your hair up. I have thick hair and was able to grab hair and have it hold up without an issue. They colors are bright, it's easy to find them, and they look like little alligators too!

These work very well for sectioning off my hair when i dye it. They're made of a sturdy plastic so i don't have to worry about them snapping or breaking. They clip into my hair and hold it in place without any slipping.

These clips work so well in my hair! Normally I have to use regular claw clips because the smaller ones won’t stay in my hair but these let me make smaller sections and stay exactly how I place them. It makes ding my hair so much easier. The double hinge help keep it in place around my hair. I never have to readjust them to keep my hair from falling. They are also smooth to the touch and don’t get caught in my hair.
