About the Author

Becky Davies is a children's book editor and author from the South West of England. Her favorite things are nature, books about magic, and cuddles with her dog, Moon. In a parallel universe she lives in Hawaii, where she surfs every day until the sun sets.

Laura Deo grew up surrounded by books, color, paintings, and music. As a child she spent every waking moment reading stories, watching movies and cartoons, and drawing funny characters again and again! Today her life is not that different...only now she does a lot of compulsive shopping, too. Deeply in love with the work of Mary Blair and more in general with the 50's and 60's style, once she approached the world of illustration she never came back. She studied Illustration and Digital Art at Scuola Italiana di Comix in Naples and started working mostly on picture books and scholastic books. But she enjoys working for advertising and magazines, too!
