  • A: Depends on which half of Florida. If Tampa and above, you'll have at least 4 months where you should be able to comfortably use it. South of Tampa you may have 2 months out of the year of use before the sweating starts. If you keep your house at 68 at night, can do year round.

Shedding Beauty

This comforter I thought was the perfect quintessential Christmas item. It is so soft however the green interior sheds like crazy. I’ve washed it 3 times and still the green is shedding all over my sheets. It’s so disappointing and gross. I wanted to love this but seriously need my money back with the lack of quality..

Pros: Arrived promptly, great looking comforter, sale priced so price probably fits quality level Cons: two holes in the top side of the comforter, filling coming out everywhere, bad stitching on seems, colors aren’t as vibrant as looks on line, I would never pay full price for this set Overall, I think I would buy again. I would have expected better quality. I did not know Hallmark brand made home decor soft lines. They should stick to cards and movies.

Not worth it

It’s pretty in pictures. But after first wash, the zipper broke on both pillow cases, it ripped, it pilled & shed lint like crazy. Plus it’s scratchy & not comfortable. Save your money. Unless you don’t plan on washing it or sleeping in it & it’d just for looks.

Pretty BUT a lot of lint after wash

I really wanted to give this 5 stars since I've been on the hunt for a plaid/tartan comforter set for a while. So when I saw Target selling it-at a decent price point-I was pretty stoked. Unfortunately, like many have said here, that first wash resulted in ALOT of lint shedding/pilling. And it was all over the pattern side of the blanket! I know it's flannel-but I wear flannel clothing and have some flannel sheets and throw blankets, but they never shed lint like this! We're definitely getting what we're paying for, I guess. 🤷🏻‍♀️ For now, it will do. But I'm definitely keeping my eye out for another tartan/plaid comforter set. I'm still not convinced I should drop that $$$ for the Pottery Barn ones though. 😂

Potential but lots of shedding and pilling after washing.

I loved the pattern of this comforter. However, just as the other reviewer stated when I washed it the first time it shedded green stuff everywhere. There were also threads where the seams were unraveling. I'm rehoming this and looking for something else.

Loose polyester fibers

The colors are great but the polyester filling comes out of the blanket, fiber by fiber. It’s SO disappointing how cheaply made things are these days. I can feel the little fibers clog up my throat. I wish these companies would do better.
