Q: When you turn the switch on are the lights supposed to stay on? I have to hold the “try me” button attached to the back down for the lights to stay on.

A: Hi Lauren - Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your interest in Halloween Haunted House. No, the lights on the Threshold Haunted House are not supposed to stay on when you simply turn the switch to the "on" position; the "try me" button activates the lights, and the display is designed to be triggered rather than to run continuously after being turned on. The "try me" button is for demonstrating the lights' functionality, not for continuous operation. I hope this helps - Emma

This item would be rated 5 stars if my items would've been treated better and not arrived broken. Beautiful design! I fell in love with it in stores but didn't have the money to purchase when I saw it. Ordered both items (large and small) online and was delivered damaged products! It's very disappointing when you spend such a high amount on items to be shipped damaged. I went from excited to display my new decor to being very disappointed. Please do better target!

The house is super cute but even with fresh batteries the lights are really dim compared to the other house I bought in a smaller size. You might get unlucky with a defective one too, but it's still cute.

These are amazing. Target outdid themselves this year with these. Last year the lights were white and not spppky at all, this year they have an organge glow and flicker, which is exactyl what I was envisoning. The added extras like fencing, moss and brnaches go a long way. The material os these is great ansd they are sturdy. You get so much value for the price. Keep them coming Target!!

I wish target could get a grip on shipping. My box looked like it was beaten/fell off the truck. It was partially busted open. Stuff stacked all in the same box with nothing in between. Haphazard brown paper thrown in as a formality and served no purpose. Multiple items are broken. Really the item itself is cute, so it makes me so angry to leave a negative review.

I’m obsessed with the haunted houses this year. They’re so fun. My kiddos love looking at and playing with them (though I try not to let them play haha). The large one is a really good size and goes well with the small one. I added the eek! haunted houses and people for extra spooky factor. My only complaint is there is no timer. Other than that, I love them!
