Q: How is this not food safe but it’s made of melamine?

A: Since your first answer was answered with a boomerang, I’m going to try & answer this question for you. The concern with this type of melamine is not so much with cold food, but with hot foods. Since this melamine is not coated w/ something special that makes it safe for food, hot foods used on this tray could cause damage to the tray such as cracking- which could then release harmful chemicals into any food that may get used on the tray.

I own a few trays, most of them plastic for durability. This tray is thick. heavy and well made. I used it for my Halloween decor and it's perfection. 10 out of 10. It's not overtly Halloween. so I'll use it year round. I am going to get a back up because it's just that good.

Just got this Halloween patterned tray and I’m so impressed! It’s a great size—definitely big enough to hold plenty without worrying about it bending or tipping. It’s surprisingly sturdy and feels super reliable. The pattern is gorgeous—subtle enough that it doesn’t scream Halloween, but if you look closely, you’ll spot little cobwebs and moths woven into the design. It’s spooky in the best, most stylish way. I honestly love it so much, I’m planning to leave it out all year round regardless of holiday, lol

This is a nice sized tray made with a thick, durable plastic. You can serve many different items on this. The eclectic style is unique and made for select audiences. We were not 100% it was Halloween themed until we spotted the spider web. It is fall harvest though.

When you think of a tray, you usually think of the ones you buy from a dollar store. Well, this is not your dollar store tray. This tray is a generous size and heavier than expected. It is a solid foundation for any items you place on it. The design is kind of spooky, reminding me of something you would find on the set of a horror movie. but, as I said, it is nice and sturdy. Due to its large size, it can easily handle a nice size spread at your next Halloween party. And, I feel you could use it almost year round if you place food on it. While the design is dark, I don't think many people would even notice provided you place paper beneath the items you want to serve on it. Overall, this is a worthwhile purchase. The tray can be versatile if you're into parties as it's a great backup even with it's Halloweenish design.

Multi-use decorative tray geared toward Halloween with some of the graphic detail, but not exclusively. The pattern easily lends itself to use through the Fall and possibly Winter time period. It's not the typical cartoonish type graphic you see on many Halloween items. Could easily be used to distribute candy or as a serving piece, or table centerpiece base. I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review.”

This tray is not your normal everyday Halloween colors. The background is a flowery web filled coloring that is different and exciting. It incorporates a midair scene with Halloween like things. Very nice and well made.
