The light comes on just before dusk and works great. I have three pups that go out at night and it comes on and sees them as soon as they go outside. This is a great device and it saves money for me, I tend to forget the light on all night :)

It is made out of plastic..lightweight plastic. So, no rusting will occur, but it may not last as long as you want it to. I live by the coast, so I like these non rusting light options, but I know I will have to replace it sooner. This light works as it should. The light is bright, but diffused. It's dependable amd works.

We liked it so much we had to buy another one to match. It gives quite a bit of light and look very nice also. We have gotten great comments on the light.

The Halo 1-Light White Led Outdoor Lantern Sconce is an economical and efficient choice to replace or add an outdoor lighting to any home. It is easy to install on standard recessed electrical boxes and I am pleased it provides about the same amount of light as a standard 75-watt bulb. Perfect entry light. A nice feature--it can be used as dusk to dawn with an automatic on/off. I chose to disable this feature and use it as a regular switched light. Very pleased with this sconce!

It is needed for path illumination for safety and security. The installation was easy and straight forward. If you have installed other exterior fixtures, you can install this one. The motion activated light really help when going out and its really dark. It has a glow ring that looks really cool. I was able to just add a rough-in exterior electrical box and run power to it without a switch because of the motion activation. Great light!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Halo outdoor security LED Outdoor Wall Scone is all plastic which is good because I live near the salt water and it won’t rust but because it’s plastic it’s weather resistant but however it doesn’t look high end. We are using it in the back of the house and It works fine and it gives off a nice amount of light. It was quite easy to mount . The built in dusk-to-dawn sensor ensures lights only come on after dark. It also has maintenance free LEDs with 50,000 hours of rated life.
