Hamilton Beach Easy Clean Juice Extractor with Easy Sweep Cleaning Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this juice extractor. As someone who has never used a juicer before I find this juicer easy to use. So far I have mostly juiced apples, but I've also juiced carrots, celery, kiwi, oranges, and kale. There are two settings, a low setting for softer fruit and veggies such as oranges and lemons and a high setting for harder fruits such as apples and carrots. It has a safety feature, if the juicer isn't locked on both sides it will not startup. It is somewhat loud and vibrates while juicing, but those aren't a big deal for me. The fed chute has a wide opening that helps reduce the amount of chopping that is needed. Small apples can fit in the chute whole, but medium or large apples need to be chopped into smaller pieces. There were a few times I had an apple stem or seed in my juice, but so far it doesn't happen often. The juice cup is big enough for just one serving, I wish it is a little bigger so I could make enough juice for my entire family without emptying the cup. Thankfully, a quart jar fits under it so I can make a little bit more. I also wish the cord was longer than what it is. There are only seven pieces to this juicer making it easy to put together. Clean up is a breeze. I like that I can put a plastic bag where the pulp goes to help make clean up easier. The juicer also comes with a sweep cleaning tool that makes cleaning the mesh strainer basket easy and safe. It gets deep into the small holes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hamilton beach easy clean juice extractor, came partially assembled in the box. I do appreciate that it came partly assembled, so it was easy for me when I needed to reassemble it. I've been juicing carrots and apples, and I was totally surprised at how quick it juiced them. It's juiced them so fast with no hesitation. The extractor juices them so quickly it's definitely a plus for me. I've wanted something easy and fast to use daily. It doesn't have a lot of parts where you are going to be stuck trying to figure out how they go. It's very simple to assemble and disassemble. I didn't even need to call for my husband to help me, I was able to do it all by myself!! Some key points to this machine are it has an extra large 3" chute. I was able to toss in small whole apples with no problem. Comes with a great cleaning tool to clean the strainer. Which I think having that cleaning tool makes cleaning the strainer easy. I like how the cleaning tool has little small bristles on both sides. Also no complicated controls, it's simple Off, Low, and HI. It's a loud machine but not super loud, it's within reason. This juice extractor does have an 800 watt dual speed motor. I do like that it will also do soft fruit and veggies like strawberries and kale. I am glad to have that option. One thing to be wary of is, the juicer cover has a small vent opening on top. I was not expecting anything to shoot out of there but. it lightly shot out carrot remnants. Good thing I was in my cleaning tee, but it's nothing major. I just try to remember to lay a napkin on there, not a big deal, but that just shows how much power this juice extractor has. I also recommend using the cup it came with because it's tall and you won't have any spatters. I used a glass that wasn't as tall and had some light splatter. Another major thing I want to point out is, that I do not have to juice so many carrots to get a good size full glass. I've made my husband a full glass using four carrots and one apple. Of course each glass you make will vary depending on size of your fruits or veggies. I don't make a whole pitcher to store, I want my juice fresh, so I make a glass daily to drink. Overall I am super happy with this juice extractor. It's make juice quick and is very easy to use! It's also not bulky to me, considering what it's for. Definitely recommend!!

It works extremely well and has made some great juicy drinks for our family. It's super easy to use! We have used it to make fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast, squeezed lemons for delicious homemade lemonade, and we have tried a few recipes we found on the internet that use various fruits and veggies to make yummy drinks. It does seem to be very easy to clean - we use a plastic grocery bag in the pulp collector area (as the instructions suggested) and that makes clean up a great deal faster and easier. The cleaning tool included makes cleaning the strainer basket area a breeze. Many of the parts are dishwasher safe. It's nice looking, looks great on our countertop. Excellent juice extractor!

Hamilton Beach Juicer is so easy to use, you can add whole small fruit without hassle or big chunks for healthy refreshing drinks with ease quickly! I love that it's not loud, creates good amount of juice, less pulp and it has a recipe booklet included if you're not sure where to start, or you can make your own recipes to suit your taste. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a juicer before and I was not really sure what to expect, but I am very surprised on how easy the Hamilton Beach Easy Clean Juice Extractor is to use and clean up. Assembly is a breeze with very few parts. The wide mouth of the juicer allows you to put whole, large, or multiple pieces of produce I in; and that saves a lot of time from having to cut and peel them. The wide mouth also allows you to clean the interior part of the mouth with a brush or sponge. It juices produce quickly as long as you use the low setting for soft produce and use the high setting for more dense fruits and veggies (apples, cucumbers, etc.). The juice extractor went through the fruits and vegetables like butter and did a good job at extracting the juice. The pulp was relatively dry and there were some larger pieces of the denser produce, which was a little disappointing. Some people run their pulp through the machine again, but it was dry enough that I do not think that would have been very productive. The instructions say to put a plastic grocery bag in the pulp collection bin to help with cleanup and that is something I do every single time. The pulp does tend to collect in the top of the juice extractor and not as much in the pulp bin. The amount of juice you get really is going to depend on the produce that you are using and not the machine. I have found things like watermelon produce a lot of juice while apples do not produce a lot (surprising to me!). Cleaning is easy if you clean the machine immediately. Juices tend to be high in natural sugars and the sweet stuff will adhere to the parts easily. Hand washing the entire juice extractor took less than 5 minutes and the easy sweep brush really does make the difference in cleaning the machine. Water and a quick brushing gets almost all of the pulp off the machine, but you do have to make sure you get all the food particles out so that you do not develop bacteria or mold. I have not had this issue as I clean my parts right away with soap and water. The machine has dishwasher safe parts so you can easily clean them with the dishwasher, but I do recommend cleaning the metal blade part with the easy sweep brush first. The manual says NOT to use the sanitation mode on your dishwasher as the high heat will warp the parts. We use the machine frequently and sneak vegetables into our kids diets easily. Win for team mom! We place the machine on our counter and we make all of our juices at once to save on clean up and prepping. The juice is stored in a regular pitcher jar or we make popsicles, which the kids love (hidden veggies in those too!). Save yourself time whenever and wherever you can and Hamilton Beach defiantly makes sure this process is fast and easy with the assembly, processing and cleanup. The waste container is big enough to make all the juice you can drink. Machine is powerful enough for juicing any fruits/veggies. This has been fun for the kiddos to help make their own juice too! Whole fruits and vegetables were juiced in no time. I didn’t need to use as much produce as I expected for a glass of juice. Clean up was quick and easy, as the removable parts can go in the dishwasher. Even my teenage son wanted to test it out. We’re glad we got this juicer!

When I received this juicer and took it out out the box, I was amazed by how easy it was to set up, without having to even look at the directions. It’s so simple to set up and even easier to use! I did like that there wasn’t a ton of pieces for set up or to juice different fruits and veggies. Clean up was a breeze especially with the included scrub brush that is perfectly contoured to scrub out the grinding plate. Another great feature is the extra large feeding Shute. It makes inserting most whole fruits and veggies without having to slice everything up into small chunks. I was able to shove whole small apples down the Shute without and hassle. I really enjoy using this juicer but my reason for only giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because it doesn’t come with an attachment to squeeze oranges. When I tried juicing them, the juice tasted very bitter due to the peel of the oranges. Also, I wish it came with a bigger pour cup or the pour spout where the juice comes out of was a bit high so that I could put a larger container under to catch juice. I normally like to bulk juice instead of a cup at a time, so I find this a bit of an inconvenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hands down my favorite juicer I have used. I cannot believe how easy to clean this is. I usually clean it right after I use it and it takes maybe a whole 5 minutes. If I wait, it takes some scrubbing but still nothing outrageous. The included bristle cleaning scrub is conformed to the blade/strainer basket and it is the easiest tool to clean with, everything comes right off. Also takes up minimal counter space and is easy to store afterwards. I have used this 3x a day for the past 8 days and I don’t intend on slowing down, that’s how easy and how much fun it is. I love the wide mouth opening, I can toss a whole peeled orange or a whole bunch of let’s say spinach and it all fits so easily. I like the hi-low setting because when I have harder veggies or fruits it is nice to turn to HI and it just keeps on juicing without hesitation. I have made soo many recipes and every one of them have turned out perfect. However, wheatgrass is a no go. This machine just can’t juice it. It just tosses the grass back into the waste compartment and can’t grab it to juice it. Not the biggest deal breaker but it was a big bummer. All in all this is a great small appliance.

I like that I don't have to prep my fruits and veggies before putting them into the juicer. It separates the pulp and fibers easily. It's also very easy to clean, which is a huge plus for a juicer.

It’s been over 10 years since I have used a juicer. The first thing I noticed while using this extractor was the amount of juice you get per fruit. I was amazed that it only took 3 small apples to almost fill my juicer cup. The machine- Using the machine is quite simple basically soft fruits and veggies on low setting and hard ones on the hard setting. The wide mouth makes it easy to add fruits and veggies with fewer chopping time. The noise level- it’s a little louder than I thought it would be but it’s not a deal breaker Cleanup- I love that the instructions recommend adding a baggie to the scrap container for easier cleanup. This is not something I probably would have done. The included brush to clean the strainer is great to use and makes cleaning so easy. I was a little worried about the strainer has it not come with a brush cause the rim and inside is quite sharp. Overall this is a great product for anyone looking for healthier drink options. I love it and will continue finding new ways to make juice concoctions.

I prepped some of the fruit by removing any peels and stones. I can put prepped and whole fruit in the juicer. It made fresh juice that taste better than any juice I can buy at the grocery store. Clean up was easy. I put a plastic bag in the pulp container to help minimize clean up and there isn’t many pieces to wash. Some features of the juicer is thoughtfully designed such as rubber grips on the feet so it stays in place and the blade is protected by the mesh strainer to prevent cuts. The juicer comes with a juice cup with a spout to collect juice. It also comes with a easy clean tool that helps clean the mesh strainer.
