Two shirts were not sewn at the armpits on the seam so had to be repaired before first wear. That was disappointing. I wished I had noticed before washing prior to first wear.

This is the perfect long-sleeved T to wear under a sweater for a comfortable, warm, layered look. Also, the black color compliments various hues of other winter colors like black, grey, burgundy, and forest green (never blue!). In addition, a tee absorbs sweat and/ or underarm stains, leaving the sweater or shirt in clean condition. My only suggestion here is that the arm length could have been longer.

These tees are advertised as very soft but even after washing with softener they are not as soft as expected or as they once used to be. I one purchased from Hanes years ago and it is ultra soft. These do not compare and are disappointing.

The fit was good, the fabric was a heavy duty 100% cotton. Almost all the seams were perfect, just one bit of surger seam was out on one of the shirts on the shoulder. These shirts make a good second layer of warmth over long johns and under a sweatshirt or make a good outer layer on mild days. My kid loves them and so do I!
