    Not for runners, hikers, or long-walkers

    The fabric is not breathable -- it feels like wrapping your legs in plastic. And when I wore them for a 3-mile walk, the "anti-chafe" turned out to be "ultra-chafe," rubbing off the top layer of skin. I've never been injured by a pair of underwear before.

    They fit nicely, but the v-shape of the pouch pinches your sack sometimes. Very uncomfortable and I believe it is a poor design. It overlaps like scissors and pinches

    Good for Athletics

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recuperating from a hip surgery, so I put these on and kept them on for several days. Through that time they maintained a snug grip on my legs but never caused the dreaded "swamp" feeling. They felt like a short I would wear under cycle shorts or running shorts as they stayed firmly in place and breathed well.

    These Had So Much Promise..

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These initially felt great when I first put them on before a hot day at work. They have great length with the long legs and don't ride up at all, the fabric is super smooth, the support is great, and the waistband is super strong. However, the aforementioned waistband is where things fell apart. The seam in the back is bulkier than normal, and over time it became super irritating to the skin on my lower back. I ended up folding it over in an attempt to ease this, but it would just end up folding itself back to normal through movement at work. Even so, I could still feel the bulkiness of the seam, and this got even worse with the other downfall of this product: heat. They got super clammy and damp feeling, almost like they don't breathe at all and stick to you too well. Only when I had the chance to retreat to cooler areas of my work did they start to feel comfortable again. So, for these reasons, I can't recommend these boxer-briefs unless you'll solely be wearing them in cooler weather. I've never experienced these negatives with any other pair before, and I've tried probably 10 varieties over the years.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric is great. The fit is Great. The only issue I have is that the waistband doubles over when wearing. Even after washing a couple of times, the waistband continues to buckle. I have a 31" inch waist and the size M from Hanes has always fit and very comfortable to wear. This is the only style from Hanes that I find uncomfortable to wear.

It is great when you sweat but be sure to change it out soon after because the stench will carry! The briefs do run on the smaller side for me but they don't ride up which is the main selling factor. The long boxer brief gives you the extra oomph so that the leg doesn't ride.

    Slick as seal skin

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Hanes, my husband will no longer wear anything but boxer briefs with a support pouch. He is obsessed with this style of underwear, and I can't argue his points. He says the vented inner thigh is fantastic for air flow, and the pouch is snug yet comfortable. The fabric is slick and doesn’t stick to your pants, causing bunching. He says it helps him move more freely in work pants. His main issue with these, is that because he enjoys food too much, the waistband refuses to lay flat and rolls almost instantly. Its not a deal breaker, but annoying for him.

They do a good job of wicking sweat, especially during hot summer practices. They don't ride up "much" which is really appreciated. Mom appreciates that they wash and dry well.
