yes, we created a brand called happy and then we made our favorite drink... coffee of course. because we all need a little more happy in our lives. with a name like happy, we thought it would be important to partner with NAMI, the largest mental health organization in the US. And to top it all off, the biggest coffee lover out there, Robert Downey Jr, joined up with us and shared his love for coffee, and copy, and design.

Not worth it at all
If I could give 0 I would. This coffee gave me the WORST acid reflux I have had in a LONG time. It didn’t taste that great, it was really bitter and reminded me of Folgers Dark Roast. It also made my anxiety extremely bad and I could not handle it. For $12??? Never again.

Good coffee, but overpriced.
The coffee tastes really good - nicely balanced and no bitterness. The packaging is fine. However, the coffee is expensive - you can get other PREMIUM brands for much less. I will only purchase again if on sale or the price comes down. Perhaps they can alter the packaging to lower the cost to the consumer.

Perfectly roasted for what a regular coffee drinker would expect from a medium roast. Balanced, lively, delicious. 20 bucks for 12 ounces is a bit steep, even if the company does do good things. I’ll definitely be buying again but as more of a treat for the house.

Happy to Review Happy Because It Makes Me Happy
I am such a coffee snob, so it's hard for me to find a coffee I like consistently. But Happy does the trick every time. Smooth flavor, tastes gourmet without that overly rich taste that makes you feel like you've had enough after only half a cup. I'm not as big of a fan of the instant as I am of the ground in my coffeemaker, but I am SUCH a fan of the ground that I bought two more cans before I was done with the first one. So yeah, it's good. :P

I enjoyed the first days of my coffee order of both the medium and dark roasts. I also liked the containers. My concern is the short freshness window. I wish the coffee could be sent out on the day, or on the day after, it was ground. There are expensive coffee containers that use filters that help to extend freshness. I will try one of these to see if I notice a difference in the future.

Great taste, but poor value
Has a good taste—not too weak or too strong, so it seems “on point” as a true medium roast. Doesn’t leave a bitter taste in your mouth. I’d give the taste profile alone a 5-star rating. I’d, therefore, like to buy it again. But I can’t justify the price the manufacturer has set for this small amount of coffee. I can buy a whopping 30.6 oz Maxwell House Original Roast Medium ground coffee container from Target for *considerably less* than this small, 12 oz container of Happy! To me, that is too great a price differential to pay over a long period of time to continue my one cup of coffee a day. So because of the poor value given the small amount you get, I had to drop my overall rating to 3 stars.
