Got this to match a nightstand I purchased ten years ago. Assembly took about an hour but instructions are easy to follow. Great price for a nice looking mid-century piece. It would be nice if there was an option to attach the door both ways.

Looks great. a lot of prices to put together but not to complicated. Only wish it was made from real wood not particol board. For the price good quality.
Low quality that takes forever to put together

Everyone else was not kidding when they mention construction time. This took forever! The quality is much lower than I expected. The particle board covering that makes it look like walnut is extremely thin and after putting it together is already coming apart at the corners. I'm pretty disappointed but after all that time putting 2 together there's no way I'm taking them apart to send back. I was expecting better since this was an expensive purchase for my family.
Decent built but looks great.

Quality is decent. But for the price you pay it's a great deal. (Especialy when they go one sale). Even the quality is not the best, it has high value since it's way cheaper than any pre-built furniture. Yes, like all the other reviews say hard to put togeter because of the ton of pieces. I bought and built the six drawer first so this one was cake to build.
Disappointed by poor quality!

Right out of the box we discovered a big scratch! Due to its location there was no way of covering it so it's going back! The quality is poor.

Purchased this from the registery for our grandson's nursery. After reading the other reviews we decided to have it delivered to us so we could assemble it and save them the hassle. Glad we did...it is very time consuming and tricky to put together. The directions only have pictures for reference and lot's of pieces and parts. End result was just okay for their decor but, not the greatest quality.
Difficult assembly

This is easily the most complex build for a small piece of furniture I have ever encountered. There are 118 parts to this when you include fasteners. They took 45 minutes each. If you are not good with construction, do not buy this item. However once together, they are nice looking.
Recommend this, but prepare yourself for long assembly time

It looks great and seems like pretty good quality, considering the low price. I got two for our master bedroom and it really makes the room look stylish and modern. Only drawback: give yourself a few hours for assembly. The instructions are annoyingly confusing and there are a million tiny pieces.
What a pain to put together.

These kinds of things drive me crazy. I've put together 800 different ikea flat-packed things in my time but this took the cake. I'm an artist. I'm handy. I'm good with my hands, etc. This thing just about made me crazy. And we had two of them (matching nightstands). I can't believe something made me miss ikea but this one did. The instructions are confusing, it feels *infintely* more complicated than it needs to (i now see--Ikea engineers are geniuses!!!!) and its for sure WAY over-priced. Truly worth less than half what it costs. >>And i got them on sale.<< I also just about sliced my wrist open trying to make it come together and had to walk around with a wrist bandage that made people question my mental stability, I'm sure. Its fine, its cute, its cheap-feeling, not quite as cheap-looking but don't get too close...i dont' know i don't think I'd get these again and i would *really* carefully consider any other flat-packed self-assembled stuff from Target in the future. Such a pain i can't even.
