Very cheap design. It's cute but as far as I can determine you have to move the projection wheel manually. Maybe great for a big Harry Potter fan who collects HP things but skip it otherwise.
Very small and best in toral darkness!

So the design is cool looking, simple and a small Harry Potter logo on the back. Uses 2 AAA batteries and when it says it’s only 3 inches, it means it. It’s super mini. The projection is pretty good for being so small but here’s the bad. It describes going up to 5 feet away, which it can but only in total darkness and it looses a lot of its detail and gets blurry from that far away. Obviously the closer you get the smaller it gets but way more detail. While playing around with it, I discovered if it’s at an angle it looks way better from further away. I would say maybe 3-4 feet away pointing upwards at a 45 degree angle to a wall looks the absolute best! It actually should have been designed to shoot at an angle and not straight across and I would have given it more stars! Also some of the slides have dark spots on them that can be pretty noticeable. It shouldn’t cost more than $9.99 and a small gift to play with maybe LEGOs or other toy figures. Not to be used a night light or for big projections on the wall!
