Our mantel is just over 2 1/2 inches thick and so I have never been able to find stocking hooks that worked. Because of the way I decorate the mantel I didn't want some little figures sitting on the edge of the mantel and adding a decorative element that didn't go with my plan. These scrolls are simple and will work with whatever idea I come up with from year to year.

These hold heavy filled stockings really well and the pewter is beautiful. Just take note of the dimensions given, they're pretty large, but overall very nice.

We have a very thick cut stone mantle which doesn't support normal stocking hangers. These scrolls work perfectly! I love the embossed holly motif. They shipped very quickly.
