I have an aversion to most beans. This meal’s description on the front and back do not mention the beans included, which is what I used to decide on purchasing. This line of meals has never made me self-identify ingredients with the pictures before, so why do I need to do that with this flavor?

Tried today...was really looking forward to trying these protein bowls!! Sadly disappointed. Not a lot in the bowl, but ok...the green stalks were absolutely unchewable! Horrible to have to pick out of your mouth and not waste anything or dig through the bowl and remove them, before every bite 🤢

Adobe Chicken far surpasses the others in this line. I sprinkle Tobasco on it and top with a cup of broken corn tortilla chips. Not gonna do a full analysis but the beans and pepitos do a lot of good as a subtle flavor enhancer. Cuban Pork is a close runner up.

These are absolutely delicious! Even my teenage son loves them, they are the one healthy thing he actually requests for dinner, as a side or alone. The sauce is what makes the flavor, I wish I could buy it by the bottle.

The taste was pretty good, you definitely have to add your own seasoning, though. I put it in the microwave for about 4 and a half minutes and it’s ready to eat. I love how on the packaging there’s all the ingredients. I think this is definitely for people who want to add healthy food to their diet. I do wish the proportions were bigger as I’m usually still hungry after eating one of these.

Ah the joy of Kale ... is there some? Love the simplicity of these lower processed ready meals, but wish they had more flavor and less ... Kale. Always handy to have a mix of power bowls in the freezer though :-)

This gave me the WORST case of food poisoning that I have ever experienced. I have no idea what they put in this, but do yourself a favor and do not buy this unless you want to spend the entire night in the bathroom.

Lots of inedible “sticks” that can’t be chewed and swallowed. It is part of the leafy green vegetable stalk. Also I didn’t see any pepitas. Wish I could upload a photo of all the twigs I took out. 12.

Recently, I've noticed the kale stalks or other plant stems in the meal. It is becoming one of the reasons I may pass this meal up when purchasing. I very much enjoy the meal otherwise. Please remove the awkward, inedible stalk pieces!

I've been trying to find some frozen meals high in protein and fiber for those weeks I'm too burned out to meal prep. The flavor isn't intense but it'll do. Calories, protein, and fiber is a little low for my needs so I added dry roasted edamame to boost those numbers. Overall I love it and I think it would be great for those who are trying to stay full and still be in a deficit if that's your goal.

This is the most delicious frozen dinner I’ve ever had and I eat it four nights a week. Awesome flavor and texture! And it definitely fills me up. Here’s the thing that bothers me: there are these tough kale stems that they seem to sprinkle on top. Why would they do that? They taste like yard clippings. It’s so bad I thought it was a manufacturing mistake but it’s been the case ever since I started buying it a year ago.

I love this Adobo Chicken. Some of Healthy Choice meals are not great but this one is really good. I love that the plate is not plastic either so I feel safe heating this up in the microwave. I just wish portion was little more but it's typical portion for a frozen meal.
