Moving, passionate, and unforgettable, this novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover follows two young adults from completely different backgrounds embarking on a tentative romance, unaware of what the future holds. After a childhood filled with poverty and neglect, Beyah Grim finally has her hard-earned ticket out of Kentucky with a full ride to Penn State. But two months before she's finally free to change her life for the better, an unexpected death leaves her homeless and forced to spend the remainder of her summer in Texas with a father she barely knows. Devastated and anxious for the summer to go by quickly, Beyah has no time or patience for Samson, the wealthy, brooding guy next door. Yet, the connection between them is too intense to ignore. But with their upcoming futures sending them to opposite ends of the country, the two decide to maintain only a casual summer fling. Too bad neither has any idea that a rip current is about to drag both their hearts out to sea.

Up There on Favorites List
This is definitely one of my favorites by her. I really enjoyed this. Some parts are slow, but totally worth it because you can understand the connection between Samson and Beyah and how true their love is for each other.

Great book
I loved the plot and how this is definitely one of Colleen’s less spicy books and it takes a lot of mental energy to understand what these characters are going through but it is an amazing book and it kept me up till 4 in the morning reading it was sooooo good. Def recommend.

Plot twist and happy ending
Such a feel good book. I loved Sara’s character and wish we saw Sara and Beyah’s friendship develop as more of a focus. It has a slower start and I was kind of bored until about page 200, but the last half had me on the edge! I read this in 2 days. I did think the ending was rushed though which Colleen does quite a bit. Great plot twist and happy ending as usual which I like.

Its okay
Good story but extremely slow. This book is more boring and predictable compared to other Colleen Hoover books I’ve read. I do like the characters and their storylines but I felt like I was just reading about two peoples past traumas, not much excitement or anything that made me want to know more.
