This is my first Colleen Hoover book. I have to say you have to be a fan of her work to like this book. It's not terrible by no means but I found it very disturbing and tired of the constant repeat of profanity and referring to their love life. If your a Hoover fan than you'll probably love it. My sister is a huge fan is very excited to read it. Everyone has their own reading style.

This is the first book I have ever read from this author! I'd have to say..I'm hooked! This is one of the best books that I have read in a long, long time. This book reeled me in from the first sentence. It definitely did not disappoint. I was completely emerged in the story. I absolutely recommend there were so many twists and turns that I did not expect. If you’re looking for something enticing, don’t skip definitely give it a chance.

Her writing in other books was decent at best but in this book she really killed it. The plot and writing has you questioning everything and every character. The ending will leave you with more questions then answers. Overall a good read, i hope she one days writes or says more on it.

Dont get me wrong, I have grown up reading thrillers and know that death and pain are par for the course. That being said, I had a VERY difficult time stomaching the child abuse. Could just be that I’m a softy after becoming a new mom but it was just disturbing to me. The ending was a good twist but I was left feeling a bit hollow after all the tough content. Read it and I’m sure you’ll see what I mean.

This was such a good read. I found myself even thinking about the book when at work I wanted to just sit down and keep reading till the end. I ended the book not sure how to feel, innocent or guilty I just don’t know. This is my second book since I got back into reading again, it reminded me why I enjoyed reading in the first place. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Read this in less than 24. This book is really captivating!! It’s starts off kind of slow, but by chapter 4/5 you will be engulfed by the craziness, the coincidences, and the personalities of the characters. I got the extended version where there is an extra chapter, so I wish it ended with a bigger bang or an even crazier plot twist. But as she mentioned in the note in the front of book, this was one of her first novels with this storyline. For what it is, I am extremely impressed!! She even gets really descriptive with the intimacy scenes. She makes you fearful, happy, sad, and aroused in 341 pages

I didn't expect to love this book but once I picked it up I couldn't put it down! It was full of thrills, surprises, twists and turns! The only thing that kind of bothered me was it felt like some things were skipped that could've added more to the book but overall, I wish I could read this for the first time, again!!

If you like thrillers you will love Verity. I got through this book so fast, it’s so fast paced, it keeps you on your toes with what happens next. I am definitely 100% team manuscript (you will understand once you read it). Verity got me into thrillers.
