Not diabetic friendly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the warmth and thickness of these socks however they have a circumferential elastic band at the top of the sock that makes them too painful to wear if you have neuropathy. Despite their marketing claim they are NOT suitable for diabetics. Wore them one night and didn't get around to returning. My bad.

Warmest socks
I have tried many types of socks to keep my feet warm due to Raynaud syndrome and nothing has worked until I tried these. My feet stay warm whether I’m inside or outside. Also, they wash well.

Too tight at the top
I am not sure how effective they are from a heat retaining perspective, because the tops of the socks are so small and tight that I could not get them on his legs. The socks are a size 13 to 15 and the band that goes around the calf is 3 inches in diameter. That would mean in order to be comfortable his calves would have to measure 6".

With the winter storm it's been -7 degrees with -24 wind chill. He said his feet stayed nice and warm and dry. He usually has an issue with sweaty feet but he said these were great. Kept his feet dry and warm and fit great!! Glad I decided to give him his Christmas present early due to the winter storm.
