Q: Does this trash can have the capability of locking the liner in place? Does the lid fit over the liner to secure the side from falling in?

A: Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. The lid on the trash can fits onto the outer area of the base and should not fall into the base. It is not secured to the base by a locking mechanism.

Unfortunately, I have not found these trash cans to last long at all. You do have to be careful when taking the lid off and when putting it back on or the tiny plastic pieces on the lid will break. I have not found anywhere you purchase just a new lid. I am considering a more expensive option.

Q: Is it possible to buy the lockable lid separately? I bought my trash can a little under a year ago. Loved it but the little hinges seemed to wear out and ultimately the lid just pops off when I step.

Q: how wide is this trashcan and how far out does it come from the wall?? I see the dimensions are listed, however I think they may have gotten the width and depth mixed up.

Helps to keep my nosy animals out of my trash, i’ve had this for quite some time now and it’s easy to clean easy to use and no breaking. It has served me well, absolutely worth the buy. It also has little edges where you hook the trash bag on so it fits nice and snug and you push the extra air out.

I bought this waste can for our kitchen and the top lid broke and wouldn't attach anymore while stepping on the pedal. I reached out to customer service for a replacement lid and they immediately shipped it out to me. I love this waster can and was so happy I was able to order a new lid ! Thank you !!

It’s an inexpensive trash can but perfect for our needs. I refuse to spend big bucks on a stainless steel garbage can! The only thing I’m having trouble adjusting to is the step that opens the lid. It seems too far back and I have a hard time finding it so I frequently just lift the lid with my hand which kind of defeats the purpose!! Other than that, it’s great!
