The button on one side holding the shears together full off and was lost so now the shears will not stay together. They also rusted with normal use.

Loved them at first
These were great until they started to rust. I like that they come apart and go in the dishwasher but after almost dropping one of the blades on my foot, I am very careful with them--they tend to separate when you don't want them to.

We've had a pair since our wedding 15 years ago and love them! They separate and are great to throw in the dishwasher. I cut everything with them ...herbs from my garden, dough, chicken, pizza, etc. I always have a pair dirty so I bought this new pair and it looks like the same quality from years ago.
