Your guests will surely love the simple contemporary appeal of this outdoor sectional that's constructed with a sturdy steel frame and rust-resistant material to make it ideal for outdoor use. With bright white cushions and a contrasting black frame, this contemporary outdoor sectional can be paired with other items from the Henning collection for a cohesive look.
1962 was a big year. Modernist design hit its peak and moved into homes across the country. And in Minnesota, Target was born — with the revolutionary idea to celebrate design for all. Project 62 embodies this legacy with a collection of modern pieces made for everyday living.
The patio set is ok. It is very low and not as big as I thought. Only a couple of adults can sit at one time. I took it apart and made it into separate sitting. However the delivery company that Target use is absolutely horrible. Their customer service is ridiculous and when they finally showed up, they broke my neighbors tree. Although I will not going to return because it would be too much of an headache, the patio set is not worth the amount that we are paying. Overall, it will have to work but I am not completely satisfied, I'm actually a little disappointed.
I loved the chairs and loveseat in the store and was so excited to see the sectional online. However - like others have mentioned, it rusted within the first two months of having it. Finally I decided it wasn't worth keeping and turned it on it's side to take it apart and it POURED rust out of it. So disappointing.
As usual, Target provides great style with poor quality, poor options and poor customer support. I knew I would regret purchasing from Target because of past experience, but I could not resist the styling which, to their credit, is unparalleled in their price range for their home goods. If I had to do it over I would pass. The delivery was through a third (fourth?) party that refused to help me bring the sectional to my front door. Front door delivery does not include stairs by the way. Yes, this is on the web page only if you dig deep and find it after you get really mad... Secondly the sectional had defective parts, poor instructions and poor engineering. The customer service to get replacement part took an HOUR and consisted of "can I put you on hold for a protracted period of time and return to tell you that you can call someone else to help you." I cannot find a way to re-order replacement cushions as I know they will not last the season. In the future I will restrict my larger purchases to another retailer.
Love the look, size and quality of frame but hate the cushions. I figure I can always replace cushions but I really don’t find this couch to be very comfortable. Not uncomfortable but not as memory foam-esqe ad many other outdoor cushions I’ve felt. It feels to be layers of batting inside rather than foam of any sort and I’m not sure if that’s normal but it’s just not as comfortable as I expected. Not a huge deal, you can still lounge and switch out cushions later but just worth noting. Comes in a very heavy box that won’t fit through most doors, FYI. We took it apart outside and brought it in piece by piece as it’s on our balcony. Love the aesthetic and the seats are quite wide. Can comfortably set 3 people and perhaps 4 small people if one scooted back into the corner. I’m nervous of how the cushions will hold up in the weather or if I’ll have any issue with the back cushions flying away as only the seat cushions tie down. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase, it’s a great piece for a balcony but not one that I’d count on being a big sectional for a backyard or anything. Some review pictures are somewhat deceiving. Make sure to measure! For reference: I’m sitting on the corner chair toward the front edge of it and camera is angled to show the longer side of the couch. I hope that helps with scale.
Nice couch, however, missing one chair back, and another piece badly damaged on arrival. Thus we are waiting another 7-10 days for replacement parts. There is a sheet saying "STOP count your parts," when you open the box, so I can't imagine this is a one time incident.
I waited forever until this sectional came in stock and jumped for joy after I placed my order for one. Assembly was pretty easy, the frame is sturdy. However, like others, I was disappointed with the size. I didn’t care though, I loved the color scheme and everything else about it so I kept it. My main disappointment after having the set for awhile is with the cushions, they have decent fluff, but they stain incredibly easy. I am surprised they say it’s scotch guarded. We have it on an enclosed 3 season porch and it has managed to absorb any amount of dirt and stained immediately. I have cleaned it with a cloth and soap, and it ended up just smearing. What’s an even bigger bummer is where the straps are to attach to the frame, it prohibits you to be able to flip them over. I can’t imagine setting this set outside, you’d be lucky if you get one season out of the cushions before they’re ruined.
