Book Synopsis

In this adventure picture book that reinforces a child's self-esteem, father of four and New York Times bestselling author Dave Hollis draws on the themes of his popular video series Teatime with Noah to help kids believe in themselves, have courage, and chase after their dreams.

The story begins with one of Daddy and Noah's beloved father-daughter tea parties, as Daddy encourages young Noah to follow her dreams. Young readers will delight to see the tea party transform into a fantastical adventure as Noah discovers that she wants to be a ship captain. But soon everything goes wrong. Noah doesn't know how to be a captain, and she doesn't even have a ship! When she starts to build her own, things go from bad to worse. Through each hardship, Daddy guides Noah, empowering her to ride the waves of life with courage.

With vivid illustrations from Arief Putra and whimsical rhymes, Here's to Your Dreams!

Such a sweet book that Dave Hollis beautifully dedicated to his daughter based off of their teatime videos. A perfect read with your little ones to inspire them to dream and follow their heart, be creative and curious, and embrace adventure. It can absolutely be read to any child of any gender, not just little girls (as some may think). 10/10 recommend

A Fantastic Book for Children and Adults Alike

This is a fantastic, engaging book for children and adults alike! When I first heard what (I thought) it was about, I was skeptical because all of our younger children are boys. I wasn’t sure if they would enjoy a teatime book. However, I was pleasantly surprised. There is so much adventure, a great balance of activities, and some wonderful rhymes. My 3 year old asked to read it again and again, which I loved. I loved that he heard about dreaming big, about not giving up, that he’s special – just because, that he can do the hard things. As an adoptive dad, I want these little kids to know that their history and trauma cannot and should not be able to dictate the heights they can reach. Thank you, Dave Hollis, for giving our family a fun, helpful, and positive tool to use with our children. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to you!”
