I have super sensitive skin that breaks out with most new products that i try, even the ones meant for sensitive skin. However, my skin did very well with this product and i use it as my first cleanse in my double cleanse routine. It does a great job of getting all the sunscreen and makeup off.

I was excited after reading reviews to find a product to actually remove makeup, especially eyeliner and mascara. This is not it unfortunately. Plus you have to basically wash your face twice, which can really strip it. I plan to return.

Just received this today and I’m surprised with how much product there is. It’s a lot bigger than what I was expecting! The spatula is included which is super nice. There is no smell, which is perfect because I’m sensitive to fragrance. It also works very well!!

Very gentle and effective but I have oily skin and I noticed my skin seems oily very quickly after using it.

This was the first cleansing balm that I ever tried and it remains my favorite. It was perfect for an evening double cleanse and removed all of my stubborn eye makeup. I've also seen several dermatologist recommend this product which is affirming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think for another skin type this would work really well. I have pretty sensitive skin, an oily T-zone, and obnoxious hormonal chin acne. I had more breakouts in my T-Zone and only there when using the product. So it's probably better suited to someone with drier skin. I also had a lot of eye irritation using this to remove my eye makeup so I'd just avoid using it there. It really does remove makeup beautifully though and when my skin was dry (after swimming in chlorine for instance) wearing layers and layers of sunscreen (also the Hero tinted one which I love) this is amazing, just again avoid the eyes. Rinses off really well, I usually do 4-5ish times I dunno if that's the usual but that's what I do. If I had loads of makeup on, before the cleanser I just use one of those plushy cloth things and warm water to really make sure it's all cleaned up. All in all, good product just not for me.
