Whip up a quick dressing by stirring this dry Ranch mix with milk and mayonnaise, and make a salad by tossing with mixed greens, pasta or potatoes. Make a zesty dip when you combine with sour cream, perfect with veggies, crackers or pretzels. Plus, add black pepper to Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning, Dressing and Dip Mix to create a black pepper rub for meats, or stir the dry mix into mashed potatoes to instantly upgrade your side dish. You can even sprinkle a little Ranch goodness on your favorite snacks like popcorn and pretzels. Plus, its gluten free and contains no preservatives. The possibilities are endless with Hidden Valley.
Usage Directions: For fresh dressing, in a bowl, combine 1 cup milk and 1 cup mayonnaise* with 3 tablespoons of mix. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate. Chill 30 minutes to thicken. Stir before serving. For fresh dip, in a bowl, combine 16 ounces sour cream* with 3 tablespoons of mix. *For less fat and fewer calories, use low fat or fat free mayonnaise or sour cream. For use as a seasoning, sprinkle on your favorite foods.

This is great for making your own ranch! I especially like putting extra herbs like parsley, dill, and basil finely chopped into the dressing. It is great mixed with buttermilk, but regular milk works fine too. You can thicken it with mayo or sour cream. It is also great for seasoning roasted vegetables!

The original is a classic for a reason: it’s so darn tasty and versatile! I’ve used it to flavor proteins, chips, sides, dips….there isn’t anything it can’t do! I will say, it can be a tad salty, and I wish there was a no salt added version, but benefits far outweigh the drawbacks!
