Small plates quantity portion
I do love this snack & other small plates but have bought the snacks with missing portions. Suppose to be 6 hot calabrese salame, 6 gouda cheese & 6 toasted rounds. Have bought with 1 missing salame or cheese multiple times now and for the price I like to get what I paid for. Would recommend but need to go through them & count before purchasing. Who want to do that?

Finding nasty stuff
One time I got one that was fresh from the store, i opened it and it had mold at the bottom. This time I open it and I find the meat covered in small white dots and it’s not the small dots that are normally on there, they were like bumps of a white liquid coming out and it had an awful smell, i didn’t think it came from my food but it actually did.

I tried the Hillshire Snacking Hot Calabrese Salame, and honestly, it’s pretty solid for a quick, protein-packed snack. The salame has a nice spicy kick — not overpowering, but enough to give your taste buds a little heat. The texture is firm and chewy, and it tastes like real cured meat rather than something overly processed, which I appreciate. That said, it is a bit greasy, and the spice can build up if you eat a lot at once. It’s also on the pricier side for the small portion you get, so it’s not something I’d buy every day. Overall, I’d give it a 7.5/10 — flavorful, satisfying, and convenient for on-the-go snacking, but a little oily and expensive for what it is.

Inconsistent
I really love these, but lately when I buy them there are some major inconsistencies. For example, today I had one less piece of salami than cheese and toasted round. I opened a package a week ago that only had three toasted rounds. Once the package was missing all the toasted rounds. Not sure what is going on at packaging, but for the cost of the small plate, I want everything I paid for.

Inconsistent packaging makes some inedible
Out of the last 10 or so packs that I have bought, 4 of them have had packaging issues. 2 were missing a piece of salami. Another one had the toasted rounds crushed by the packaging machine, so several pieces were in with the salami. The last one had the stack of cheese squashed by the packaging machine.

Expired product on your shelves almost 10 months
I ate two cracker with cheese and meat fast because I was starving was on a busy schedule tasted funny but I thought it was just the Gouda and Calabrese and washed it down quick with a drink as I was moving and out of nowhere my stomach started hurting really bad half an hour pass I’m in the restroom my wife asking me dang what did you eat I said just that Hillshire snacking plate she went to look at it it’s been expired 01/04/2025 I was disbelief y’all been having these expired snack on s shelves for almost 10 months y’all gots to do better Target I’m sorry I love y’all but this is ridiculous
