Susan Mallery has a way of creating places with people and traditions that you wish you could move to, and Wishing Tree is no exception. Home Sweet Christmas is the perfect holiday story to curl up next to your tree and a fire with. A meddling mother, a dog named Tinsel, a holiday hall, and two love stories all wrapped in one wonderful tale - the perfect addition to The Wishing Tree series!

I have never been big on Christmas but for some reason I love going back to Wishing Tree! I love hearing their Christmas traditions and how close the town is, it is very comforting! I could relate to these characters a lot! Camryn has uprooted her life and changed everything to care for her twin sisters after the death of their mom. I have been care taking for 2 years and the amount of strength and willpower it takes so days is amazing. She has all of those qualities! I also love that Dylan is a cabinet maker! My dad has a custom cabinetry business! Susan Mallery writes heartfelt stories where you can picture the people and the town and the connections they have but you can also tell they aren’t perfect and respect their journeys to better themselves! Great read for the holiday season!

I say that I want to move here but by the end of the book my man is taken and in this case both of my choices are taken! (; This is a great-warming, funny and romantic story involving friendship and family and all different relationships. I just love the characters that SM creates and develops! I think you will love it just as much as I do. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I loved being back in Wishing Tree and really enjoyed learning about new characters. I love that Susan Mallery has such strong female characters, too! There were a few 'oh, no!' moments but I think they were resolved well. I hope this series continues.

I absolutely loved this book! Wishing Tree sounds like the most wonderful place to live or even to visit, with their many events and traditions, all Christmas related. The two love stories in this book, along with the characters, were funny, loving, caring and romantic. I enjoyed the way Susan Mallery writes about family and the good and bad events that take place. Camryn and her twin sisters seem so real, going through what most teenagers and caregivers go through. Home Sweet Christmas was another one of those can't put down books because you just HAD to find out how it would end. I'm looking forward to the next installment. I just wish I could go visit!

I don’t usually choose fake date and I want babies books, but I can never say no to a Susan Mallery, and she never disappoints. Wishing Tree is a charming town, where people take care of each other and community is strong. I’m moving there immediately! Helen is awesome! I want to be her when I grow up.

I want every book in the series to come out now. I didn’t want to stop reading about this town. It’s a place that’s too good to be true and obviously a fictional place but boy could I move in today. The characters are fun and relatable. The only negative for me is that I actually wish there was more Christmas related content. Not enough Christmas for me.

Strangers become family, friends, become even closer, and a the book creates a town, where we would all like to live. Can't wait to read the next Wishing Tree story!

Take a trip back to Wishing Tree the perfect little Christmas town. Project Jake's Wife is truly hilarious. Nothing like a meddlesome mother to mix up your dating life. The Snow King and Queen are brought back to life for the first time in half a dozen years (picture homecoming for adults with a heavy dose of Christmas cheer). And you have yourself a fun little holiday getaway full of heartbreak, love and lots of laughs.

If you're looking for the perfect Christmas read you found it! Home Sweet Christmas by Susan Mallery is set in the small town of Wishing Tree. It is the second book in the series but can also be read as a standalone. But you won't want to miss the first book! No one does Christmas like a small town - there's a tree lighting, a Snow Queen and not one holiday love story but two! Susan Mallery has such a great sense of humor and your just fall in love with her characters. A great way to start off my holiday reading season!

If you like Christmas romance stories, this is a good book to read. I loved the town setting of Wishing Tree with all the Christmas-themed businesses. I would love to visit this fictional town and I would have fun naming all the businesses. I was able to relate to all the characters, but I actually liked the secondary characters of the twins and the dog named Tinsel more than the main characters! Helen was way too involved in her son Jake's life. He needed to have a good sit down talk with her. In one way, it was nice to have a mother that loved and cared that much, the exact opposite of my own, but she got way too involved. I had a harder time relating to River as she crossed the line too many times with regard to her work ethic. Good thing she had her own business. She had a hard time trusting Dylan, but she had no business delving into his past. They did not know each other long enough! I also thought the announcement that Dylan made to the general public at the end was wrong. Since I do not want to reveal any information about it, I do want to say that I feel no one in their right mind would reveal that to the general public. Everybody and his brother would be knocking on your door. Keep that information under wraps. That being said, it was a fun Christmas-themed holiday book with some cute laugh out loud moments. It was a good book to put you in the holiday mood. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Susan Mallery for review purposes. This did not sway my opinion in any way.

When I picked up this book to read, it was like being reacquainted with an old friend. I wanted to stay up all night to finish it! Reggie and Camryn had no idea what their next Christmas would bring. Reggie is just looking to belong, and Camryn is just looking to heal. But the town of Wishing Tree has other changes for them to overcome. Trust and love are two powerful feelings. When we start trusting and loving ourselves, then the joy of life can really begin, but that is a lesson to be learned. The ladies each have their trials and opportunities to grow and change but it was not easy. Being loved and feeling too flawed to be loved is not just a storybook theme, it is something real readers can relate to. Ironically, the males in this story are not immune to trust issues either and that made them real. Ms. Mallery weaves all the holiday fun and trials into a loving story that will make you laugh and cry.

I could not put this book down. If you want a feel good Christmas book, this is it! Wishing tree is a magical Christmas town that you will be so excited to come back to. Camryn and River's stories not only draw you in but just make you feel good. You don't want to miss this sweet story.
