This is the best vanilla ice cream you will ever eat. I don't normally buy vanilla ice cream because I like ice cream with fruit, nuts, and some chocolate pieces. But I was invited to a holiday dinner and decided to bring ice cream. To be safe I bought vanilla ice cream. Since I was already at Target I checked out what they had to offer. They had the usual expensive brands (Breyers, Tillamook, Blue Bell, etc) but they were twice as much as the Target brand ($3.49 for 1.5 qt.) The Target brand had two different vanilla flavours (plain vanilla and homemade vanilla.) I picked the homemade because it looked rich and creamy. Kinda like french vanilla. It was absolutely delicious. Nobody believed it was a store brand. I plan to try the other flavours.

This is one of the very few vanilla ice cream I like! I'm picky when it comes to vanilla ice cream and this hit the spot. Idk why people are complaining. 10/10 for me. And yes there is corn syrup but maybe read the ingredients before buying if you want to avoid that. I think almost all store bought vanilla ice will have that

Unlike the naysayers on this ice cream, I find it’s consistency very close to expensive gelatos, doesn’t coat your mouth like fully fatted ice cream and that lovely yellow tint comes from egg yolk. Granted there are ingredients used for adding body and creaminess, but just because you can’t pronounce them doesn’t mean you should get snobby.

What was I eating? It was orange and I couldn't figure out what was that weird flavor. Was it spoiled or made to taste like that on purpose. This was the first time I threw out ice cream. What a waste and not gonna be getting that again.

I like the flavor of the favorite day homemade vanilla ice cream. It is slightly gummy and stretchy. Not in a gross way, just not the way I prefer it. I wish it was more natural, and didn't include corn syrup. I guess if you want a good deal on basic ingredient ice cream, it makes sense to make it yourself. That's what I usually do. But sometimes a premade ice cream is very convenient.

I honestly question the taste buds of the reviewers that like this ice cream. First of all it’s orange! I had to look at the carton to double check I hadn’t bought orange sherbet. Second, it’s very icy and tasteless. Do yourself a favor and buy a name brand vanilla ice cream for a couple dollars more.
