Q: I was surprised to read "chemical products" fumes could harm children with a warning tag. We're Great grandparents. S Do gases dissipate over time from the exterior? Children may want crawl on.

A: This is a warm ivory – it has undertones of slight pink to it but is overtly ivory cream

Q: Could you take legs off and use without legs so it could slide on wood floor without damaging floor or ottoman?
A: The legs are removeable but with out legs there is no floor glides to prevent damage to wood floor
