Q: Is there a child lock feature for the digital display?

submitted by Nicole - 1 year ago

Small, but MIGHTY! This is child/pet friendly and has a motion sensor that shuts off the heater if a child or pet gets too close. It comes with a remote which is always nice and convenient. It heats up my living and dining room within 10 minutes. I highly recommend for parents and pet owners.

Made the power go out within a matter of minutes. It's a tiny thing and should not draw that much power. Crazy.

Doesn't Even Outperform Cheaper Honeywell

1 out of 5 stars

RayRayy - 6 months ago
This thing is absolutely awful. Picked it up as a temporary solution until my replacement Dyson is sent, and wow, it's bad. I bought my grandmother a cheaper $40 Honeywell and it's great. Throws heat well, quiet, maintains temperature. Because of that I thought I'd get even better performance out of this one. No. It has always on, obnoxious blue lights, makes a ridiculous amount of noise, and the heat only really stays in that corner of my room. My biggest problem is with the thermostat, though. When you set it to 65, you'd expect it to stay right around that right? I've been woken up multiple times over the past week because it never shut off and my room was 74 degrees. The reverse happens when it's cold too. Indoor temperature could be 60 but the machine won't kick on until I turn it up to like 68. It's awful. Just get that $40-$50 Honeywell and save a bit of money. This thing is totally going in a donate bin once my new heater gets here.

Complete junk. BEWARE OF FAKE REVIEWS!

There are 2 settings on this heater: Lo (750 Watts) & Hi (1500W) Lo barely generates any heat whatsoever. There is no temperature control on Lo. You'll only feel the heat if you're standing right in front of the heater. Hi is the only setting that allows for temperature control, but THE BUILT-IN THERMOSTAT IS DEFECTIVE. If it were working properly, the heater should heat up to your desired temperature, shut itself off to save energy, then turn itself back on once the temperature drops below your setting. EXCEPT THE LAST PART NEVER HAPPENS. It'll just shut itself off & never turn back on again, and you'll wake up freezing in the middle of the night. There's apparently no way to set a temperature & have it run continuously without the "smart" thermostat. (Lo doesn't support temperature settings.) The heater is LOUD & the blue LED lights that remain on even when the device (erroneously) thinks the temperature has reached your desired setting are so bright that it's like sleeping with the lights on. I can read a newspaper without any other source of light in the room. 0 out of 5 stars & worst heater I've ever purchased. I'll be returning this. BEWARE OF FAKE REVIEWS. If you click [Load more] to load all the reviews, you'll notice the vast majority of 5-star reviews are left in conjunction with a "paid promotion" – this typically means the reviewers received free or heavily-discounted demo units in exchange for writing reviews of new products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the safety features on this heater. We have a very active little one, and this heater has a motion detector, so it will turn off if something is in front of it for more than a few seconds. Also, if it gets tilted the heater will automatically turn off. Our other tower heater just went out a few weeks prior to this one arriving, and I’m glad to have this as a replacement. It is smaller, and produces less heat for us, but it’s perfect in our babies room. Especially with the temperature monitor. I do wish the lights could be dimmed, or that they wouldn’t be so bright in the first place, it really does light the whole room up. But overall it’s tiny and mighty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to start with the size. It has nice size because it is small and tall so it’s great for small compartment, and it is also lightweight. I like how it warms my place right away. I like the different features such as motion sensor and how easy it’s to use, so far I like the experience I have with this heater

The heater worked great at first, but the thermostat seems to be broken after about a month and yhe unit just runs forever. I plan to return this. My cheap analog unit works better. I also hate the bright, blue LEDs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This space heater saved me this winter. Our front room of our apartment has been extremely cold, and this has been so helpful in adding some extra heat near the couch. It has the option to blow air in one direction or rotate like a fan which is super helpful, and also comes with motion sensing.

I've owned one for about 2-3 years now. It still is working great. I decided to get a second one to use in another room. So many good features: remote control that comes in very handy if you don't want to get up to press the off button, timer to shut off when you want to go to sleep and not have to worry about turning it off if you fall asleep, low and high heat seatings, thermostat setting, sways side to side or you can stop it to point in a specific direction, sensor to auto turn off if it tips over and a removeable back cover to vacuum the accumulated dust. I'm very happy with this brand and model!

Very strong heat comes out. I love the safety sensor. It stops when someone gets to close or it's tipped over. My best part is the remote control.... I can run the heater from anywhere

Light and Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Heater! It's too cold in Vegas during night time and this one kills it :) I love how the looks is slick, and kudos for the product management who came up with this idea. The fan was too powerful that it reaches you more than 15 ft away. It is also lightweight which is very surprising to me. The only reason I am giving this a 4 star, is that the motion sensor is not working. also it would have been nice if the tower is a little taller like 5ft it would look very luxurious and elegant. I am for sure a lot of homeowners to value decor will by this in a heartbeat. I speak from experience as a Interior designer such as myself. :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater has been amazing to keep in my room this winter. It heats up within a couple of minutes, and the features it comes with are awesome. My favorite is the fact that you can set a timer, so if I want to take a nap I don’t have to stress about it staying on the whole time. It oscillates which is nice, you can adjust the temp by degrees, and the strength the air blows out. Overall it’s an amazing heater
